my old stock 32 ran 11.5psi, you will always get an increase in power when u run more boost, just the increase per psi slowly drops as you go past the efficiency rate of the turbo

Yeh had the same thing, the 4 bolts that bolt the turbo to the manifold had come loose causing a leak

Hey guys im looking for a turbo upgrade for my rb25 to run with my stock exhaust manifold, i have a s/s top mount exhaust manifold and a fairly big xspower turbo (all new) that im willing to trade if anyone is interested let me know.

the housing looks big in the pic but its actually not much bigger than an rb25 one

well for a start it is designed for a piston engine, and i didnt buy it off ebay, i didnt pay f**k all for it. paulr33 - have u run one of these before?

yeh were u going to run one of these turbos? it looks like a pretty good turbo given the exhaust side will flow really well, where are u located? and any idea how much to make the flange and drill/tap it?

Hye guys does anyone know how a downpipe attaches to this turbo (attached is a pic) it doesnt have any studs to bolt to or any way of attaching a downpipe without welding 1 on any info would be great

Hey guys does anyone know where i can get the 2 (1 big 1 small) coper washers for the turbo water pipes (rb20) anywhere in melbourne? ive found some that have a slightly bigger ID but they leak like a siv

theyre s1 coilpacks, ive used them before on an rb20 they worked fine, i dont know if it changed dependng on engine temp cos dont thrash it when its cold and it never gets over normal operating temp, im sure its not the coils as this is the second set, i brought the timing back just slightly seems to be better, but i shouldnt have to retard it at all

check your afm and crank angle sensor, (and all other sensors) try swap it over from a mates car or something, also if it is leaning out & detonating it will stuff the plugs so u will need a new set

Ive changed the plugs twice, tried 0.8 and 0.9mm gap, i put my rb25det coils in it

Hey guys i need some opinions on this I have an r32 gtst, its pretty stock engine wise just has a filter a cat back 3in and an early model safc, its boosted to 14psi but it has a miss at full throttle (still has a miss even at stock boost), im pretty sure its not detonation, just a miss, i have changed the tps, afm, all the coils, and the cas, pretty much everything except the o2 sensor (because its fairly new) but it still does it, if i wind the fuel back slightly from stock it is better but still sometimes does it, its really annoying. Any good ideas anyone?
