  4. Week 6 Photo Picture was made from three exposures - all three using: ISO: 100 Aperture: 7.1 Focal Length: 10mm
  5. Aaaah I see! Yeah no lol
  6. The Powershot S3 is a P&S! Well maybe not but has an electronic shutter anyway! I want to try making some time lapses without raking up a h00ge shutter count on my D80 (besides you girl friends ixus 100 isn't supported)
  7. Thanks for the offer mate but I think I'll get funky's

  16. That's how we learn though! Practice Yeah I should remember to put my LED torch BACK into my camera back lol
  17. Looking for a cheap Canon Powershot P&S Anyone got one they don't use any more?
  18. For next time: Using the car lights to help auto focus is one option. Another handy thing is to have a small LED torch in the camera bag for such occasions. If all else fails (ie its too dark to even see if its in focus or not - like it did for me when I took the photo below) just turn auto focus off and then manually set the focus to just before infinity This reminds me - I did a couple of 30seccond photos the other night actually (during that lightning storm) - I should really see how they came out!
  19. Nice shot Sid And yeah - with portraits background can be under or overexposed. Important thing is that the person is correctly exposed (good place to use that centre weighted setting!) So you've done well
  20. fixed ps wish I had a 500mm lens
  21. Impressive shot mate - no way I could do that with my equipment in such low light
  22. Haha yeah - I was reading thinking "ah yeah" then checked google maps for "Ocean Road Palm Beach" and it said it was a 12.5hour drive lol
  23. For those who don't know.. this is in SYDNEY
  24. Nice shots That 3rd shot (the HDR) is a bit over done IMO - car doesn't even look white
  25. Whoa fancy! Thanks for the info mate (might stick to camping - at $5 pp /night its more in my cheap-skate price range )
