  3. NEXT WEEK!!! WHAT?! I still have to post LAST weeks one!! And then one for THIS week! Lets not get ahead of ourselves now ok?!
  4. @ stenve: You didn't camp at Springbrook by the looks? Where did you stay? Was it nice and how much was it? @ GoldZilla: Thanks mate. There were heaps of those caterpillars in the camp site but they move quite fast when you try and shoot them!
  5. Link for lazy people (like me): http://www.timeattack.com.au/ ps. Wonder if I'll ever beat the one minute mark - might try this year!

  7. Funny you should say that - going camping at O'Reilly's next month (well Lamington National Park actually but yeah)
  8. Haha thanks. Have an old four wheel drive and love camping. Went camping last weekend at Springbrook. Rained almost the whole weekend But its an awesome spot - lots of walks and its very 'rain-forestry' - so will have to go again sometime!
  9. Took these down at Springbrook last weekend
  10. Week 5 Photo ISO: 100 Exposure: 8.0 sec Aperture: 16.0 Focal Length: 70mm
  11. Traditionally they are good for landscape shots - which 17mm would be fine for IMO. Unless you are going to buy a wide angle anyway - I wouldn't buy a wide angle just for the ND filter's sake. Maybe check the sizes - you might be in luck and be able to use it on both (unlikly) however my 10-20 and my 70-200 for example are both 77mm so I can switch my uv, skylight, cpl and nd between them
  12. Haha thanks Thought you might not have... as I specified "Photo was taken using ND3 (x1000) filter..." when I posted the photo I just got mine from ebay. It's a B&W 77mm. Got it for my 10-20, would also fit my 70-200 but doubt I'd ever do that!
  13. OI QUIET YOU!
  14. Yupp she sure did! Bitch! Yar (ps doesn't have to be 100% de-sat)
  15. Hey Chris, I normally take three shots - one at normal exposure, one at 2 stops under and one at 2 stops over and I use Photomatix. If you want you could show us what you got and we can maybe give you some advice? -Zennon
  16. Yeah nice! Might be slightly underexposed and framing slightly to the left (to get more sea in so the chair is at the right hand third line) might have helped (IMO) Can't change framing now but for exposure this is kinda what I mean:
  17. Matt, it's a ND1000. There is a nice table on the wiki showing how many f-stops and light the different ones let through: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutral_density_filter And as for Project 52: I haven't been slack taking photo's.. just been slack processing them!
  18. That's so cool (excuse the pun)
  19. Get an naturally aspirated 33
  20. Good shots man. As for last shot - did you de-saturate one person and leave the other one saturated? Looks a little strange..

  22. yeah love milk and awesome car man - love them! They drift well too I know a guy called Paul who has one (met him at a motorkhana) ps. time for an avatar change!
  23. Going camping this weekend.. will be taking lots of pics for week 5 photo! Waterfalls... possible star-trails... also taking lots of LEDs along so might get some cool jay019 style shots
