  7. First one from my Simpson Desert series
  8. HEY, i just had a thought no
  9. that might be picasa doing that - think default (from web anyway) is 1600 or something ps nice wang
  10. Yeah added a quick description here under the photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zennondamant/4960040974/ but pretty much you need a 360x180 pano where you try and keep the camera in the same spot (this might be a lot depending on how wide your widest lens is) then you stitch them into a pano - can use hugin for this but i used my normal pano software then you stitch it into a little planet using hugin (its harder than what it sounds lol)
  11. yeah good - can always just use auto mode and pretend its a point and shoot
  12. Here is my second one
  13. Thanks Sidd Haha yeah I did two on the 1st - and both came out ok'ish (will post the another one up as well). Then went camping up the beach and did 3 up there and none of them would even stitch correctly
  14. Could have sworn I posted this but doesn't look like it... This was taken on the 1st - its my first "little planet" ever: The 360x180 degree pano Cropped version of the little planet The Anzac Square little planet
  15. yeah exactly - which is why pentax forum would be good also why I was a little worried about that 70-200 sigma lens - esp being second hand (and on being on ebay you can't test it out before buying to make sure its in good working order either)
  16. Sigma 50mm F2.8 EX DG Macro For Pentax might be a better option.. Min Focusing Distance: 18.9cm Max Magnification: 1:1 Maybe go start a thread on an actual pentax forum - im sure they will be able to help
  17. I have a sigma 70-200 and can tell you it would be good for sports but not really good for real macro photos yeah here: Sigma APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO for K mount: min focus 1m max magnification 1:3.5 def not a real macro lens... (but might be ok for your usage *shrugs*)
  18. No - that is called minimum focussing distance
  19. nope (I have a Nikon) - but you could do a search in flickr for example pics - that's what I normally do before buying a lens
  20. normally its part of the name - and to see how good the macro is you look at the magnification - 1:1 is good
  21. Maybe you can buy a 50mm macro lens! so its like a 50mm prime so hopefully sharp and it can do 1:1 so you can use it for a macro lens ie: Pentax 50mm F2.8 SMC D FA Macro Lens Sigma 50mm F2.8 EX DG Macro For Pentax
  22. No sorry you misunderstood - those aren't macro lenses - they are good lenses
  23. These are macro lenses Pentax Macro 100mm f/2.8 Sigma 70mm MACRO F2.8 EX DG Sigma MACRO 105mm F2.8 EX DG (I have the Nikon mount version of that bottom one - its pretty good)
  24. Err.. I dont really know Pantax lenses mate.. I'd suggest asking on the Pentax forum or something Something kinda like this is what I was thinking: Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM Pentax 16-50mm F2.8 ED/AL SMC DA SDM Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM
