I had a t88-33d on my 25, was on full boost just after 5, with stock cams & head. Awesome turbo, if your getting it cheap go for it. I was making around 450rwhp on 22psi.

That is correct, chev rods do fit rb30 (same length). I believe you have to modify the piston to rod connecting part (dont know the name). There are guys in melb that can do this, rajab or bresciani racing.

Hi boost at top end is not an issue, as i dont take it past 7000rpm. As you can see from the dyno. Hi boost is an issue down low, as thats when rods can break. Up top you'l only damage rings (so i have been told).
There 2 things that we are assuming which is the problem to why boost sky rockets
1. I have re-ground exh cam with ajd cam gear - that may need adjusting. Have set it to 0 and just fitted cam. If i play with the timing it may stop the boost spike and give me a fatter mid range.
2. Wastegate hole needs to be machined
I wont be doing anything for now as im happy.
considering, in a skyline the same model with the same mods and auto with 200rwhp, we went 14.1 @ 98mph i would say your time is a little slow. what is your 60ft times and how is the cars tune ?

well i bought the car with the conversion done already and from what i know yes the rods have been done.. more info will be pasted once the car is gone on the dyno since i have owned it.
well, thats the main reason im looking at getting a new plenum... personally, if i was too build the car from scratch i would of changed the plenum but obviously there hasnt been a need too. do u know what the prices are on a afm plenum chamber

ok, going by some of the figures here and abit off topic, if a 250rwkw gtr is meant to do 11s with a 1.8 or lower 60ft, would a gts-t with 360rwhp do 11s with a 1.8 or lower 60ft? that is using slicks obviously
well not all the mods are listed on the site + i de-boosted it because the car will be driven alot, almost every day, i also set the rev limiter for the same reason as i dont need to rev it past 7500. also the car wasnt built for 300rwkw it was built for 600rwhp and for 1/4mile racing. yes if i put a smaller turbo on it and aim for 300rwkw i will be getting boost earlier and for alot alonger and thats why you probably make more power then me on less boost. how ever i will be doing some changes on it aswell still yet to come
well benn its made a maximum of 566.7rwhp on 38psi it now has been detuned to 18psi and rev limit set to 7500rpm though it can be reved past that with ease. so in actual fact no i dont think its dumb. the car wasnt built for low end power or circuit racing it was built for 1/4mile racing and top end power
