  1. Here is my motor which is on its journey here. i think its is something close to 34 blue?
  2. f**k that nice!! Moar boost!!!! hope it all goes well with the final tune! i wish mine was back together!!
  3. Could be a concept! its a big job, probably 4++ hours at least. the xforce ones are probably the cheepest, and fit very well. you'd most probably only find stainless dumps. i still think if your doing dumps and you want to run a bit of boost.. get rid of the stock turbos. or dont change the dumps at all.. get your power fc from www.nengun.com
  4. yeah i think i will pull it out today and get the woman to measure it up.. haha a group buy is on order!! i'd organise it if we can get a few numbers! ok i've emailed them for prices on 10, 20 and 30.
  5. Yahoo! because mines an odd length, do you think i'd need to send it away to get it measured properly? or could it be done without sending it away? i was wanting to do this when i was holding the one kris put in the Mines 34gtr out here it was quiet nice!
  6. i used green shock proof from redline in mine for a while. but you might want to check up on quaife.co.uk for some more information about it as they are the people who actually make the gearset.
  7. i know only a few places have the tools to get these boxes apart. but cant help you with a place to go. what state are you in?
  8. Its for turning corners you bogans!
  9. Its ok to boost over that 14pound area, but you just dont really want to be doing it for too long, More boost means more heat and the ceramic wheels will break alot easier. so a constant 16pound could very well spell the end for your turbos, and even possibly the engine.. tho i am sure people have run more on them before, but it just isnt worth the risk.. as for the power fc. apexi is still open for business and you can still get a power fc, some models you cant. but 32, 33, 34 gtr are still avaliable i'm not sure what you use on a stagea?
  10. Thanks, the ones on the above website were dicked for my connection
  11. The japs also claim they have sprinters below 700kg's now with all the body work weight etc my friend has taken out of his hes still around 250kg's off that mark.. and the jap cars are still full body.
  12. Who does carbon shafts out here? I was going to send away for one that was on the Uk forums, from an American company i beleive. it was around 600us i think. but since i have a 34 box in my car, i couldnt get involved with the group buy as they were made for standard lengths. the saurus car is around 1220 kg's wouldnt mind getting somewhere around that weight.
  13. I guess he does have an endless budget right? Powerplay will be right up his alley To add to all this, might be a good idea to purchace parts yourself if you would like to save a few grand here and there.
  14. Haha i'm sure mine goes up at 5psi intervals. and so does every other one i have seen.
  15. start with the exhaust/front pipe and filter, get yourself a power fc, and start buying parts and collect them. get it all thrown on at the one time and tune. will save a bit of money!
  16. its a very tight gap but you can make it out if you look at the right angle its on a plate, in between the turbos two housings. aka the core
  17. Go out with a torch and try view the serial numbers located between the turbos housings (on the rusty looking center core) jot down anything you can see. normal Power fc, and boost controller are always going to be a good start. i think you'd get that figure your after with just them if the turbos are what you believe them to be.
  18. trust us, change the turbos if your considering doing the dumps, it really isnt all that much trouble. only a few grand. and trust me in saying, your going to do them later anyway so save yourself the money and get them done while the dumps/exhaust are getting done. as its a good long days work to install dumps not trying to twist your arm or anything
  19. I own a gtr, i'll just add. if your going to do a full exhaust from turbos back, which will require you to pretty much remove the turbos to fit the dumps anyway.. (unless its easier on a stagea tho i wouldnt expect any more room in there) your better off saving up around 2500 for some 34n1 turbos the standard ones are not a great idea to have sticking around if your going to chase a bit of power. as for the exhaust/turbo outlets, there are plenty available and most are rather proven, split or unsplit is really the option. i use the trust split dump/front pipe in one. its a pain in the ass to fit, but seems to be the goods as the split is very long. other than that tomei, hks, power enterprise and this list goes on and on even the xforce ones are pretty good, but are just hks copies.
  20. haha i've seen someone use a chisel before and didnt like that. took him a long time and lots of swearing.' as for heatgun, that would make for much stickyness. tho might be used in combo with ice too.. ice. sounds nice and hard should work ok i think..
  21. yeah i guess smaller would work too i was just thinking i went thru a full tank in two 20 minute sessions at ec.. but a tune would help that. must get some dry ice for the weekend to remove some tar.
  22. Whats the fuel tank worth? and an average weight of a 50L cell for the boot? i'm getting bored at home and the cars telling me it wants to go on a diet. tho i'm probably going to remove alot more. a 5kg titanium exhaust will be on its way. removing all the 4ws pumps and lines unless, there is something the lines are good for. might get a wholesaw onto the bar reos i still have A/c too. but thinking of keeping it for them hot track days where i'll be the coolest guy out
  23. I'm sure it wont be long till its down to a 57 then a 56 and then moar. just takes some stripping out the beef.. and moar boost yuleh.
  24. Still got these! this is a great price!!!
