  2. i would seriously break most of the japanese girls in two. i also dont quiet find them that attractive. they have nice slim bodys but i hate their lack of knees. they remind me of girls from deal or no deal and i am a fussy mother f**ker when it comes to getting my end in

Mine's refering to a very open gtr system, i run the trust front pipes, Same as nismod pictured above.. but i've modified my veilside 3.5 inch exhaust, actually found it to be way too quiet so i cut out one of its large mufflers and it opened it up alot, yet its still very quiet considering what it has or more so hasn't. before with the full veilside system it was very very quiet..

  8. yeah goes away when clutch is pressed in and is only on idle. its not really a great concern of mine. os 3 or 4 plate, i didnt actually see the clutch before it went in. we're booked in to autosport so i should have it sorted by the time i get back from America
  9. i built one of the kits from techedge www.wb02.com and its great! it may have been the older 2a0 kit but i've not really had a problem with it at all. also havnt used it a great deal either but they are great! i need to plug it into my fcon and attatch the sensor still
  10. maybe my bearing in my gearbox is also bad, but since i've put the 34 box in i get the loud rattle on idle, apparently its normal when not using dual mass flywheel?? so its rather noisy under the car while up on the hoist at idle... i'll get the pulleys sorted and go from there. will call autosport today
  11. haha well with a 34 gearbox in this thing there is an abundance of tapping near the bell housing its impossible to hear anything under there. i took it to my friends shop, did an oil change, put it on hoist. he had difficulty listening for noises too. said pulleys are very noisy and i should get some new ones first before i worry about the rest.
  12. yeah i just wanted to cancel out the headgasket so i did the compression test. but again i'm not too keen on taking it for a drive as i may cause more damage. oil pressure is fine, defi says up to 8 on cold and drops to 6-3ish when warm after a good drive, tho i dont want to drive it anymore caus of the knocking.. i've used a screw driver and ear business against the water pump, ac, all over the head. i beleive its coming from the bottom end..

I've got a knocking noise, i've done a compression test and came up with 140ish across all cyl with cyl 2 @ 138 just a little below but not a worry, so head gasket fine etc.. i've tried disconnecting 1 coil at a time to see if it goes away. checking if it is cylinder or rod related. i've taken the fan off timing belt covers tried all this to check if there is a problem of noise coming from either. is there anyway i can check main bearings without pulling the c**t apart? or anything else someone can recommend? cheers Andrew
  14. I'm 100% sure there will be a big after market following with this car, nissan, nismo make alot of money from that i'm sure they wont hold out on aftermarket upgrades
  15. so firstly the car needs to be on the sevs list.. then to get the first compliance done someone needs to crash test a gtr and make sure it meets all adr requirments? is there a deadline before nissan brings theirs in?? and does nissan bringing theirs in change anything to the importing?

Japanese buyers will pay around $A78,000 and then $150,000 is the number in Australian dollars that may yet excite GT-R fans the most.. i guess we'll have to wait and see nissan australias real figures, but f**k there is an extra 72k in there, Can someone get on the ball and apply for this on the sevs regester A.S.A.P!!!!
  17. Ello, I'm considering a rb30/26 build. with probably a to4z or similar. i'm wondering will my Getrag box cop the torque? i do have the uprated/larger nismo imput spline in the box but information on these boxes is scarce. cheers Andrew

The plot thickens! i'm pretty keen on all this i would really really like this car and think by 2009 if not earlier i'd be able to front the paperwork.. sadly the 32 may have to go. i should really be thinking about housing hey. but this car has been on the dream list since i saw the first proto. Does anyone know when it lands in the us??

  24. If your to go the twin way, remember to do dump's and front pipe also. add that to your cost. as your alot better off to do this while the turbos are off. it will save time and money!!
