  9. Its a definate turbo out job! one cracked stud and your f**ked! tho bieng newer turbos i dont see this happeneing! but it sure is alot easier to get all the nuts tight with the turbos out of the car! i've done and watched it bieng done many times

  11. And turbos too you will save either 12 hours of screaming, what the f**king and i hate nissaning to name a few. orrrrr whatever someone charges these days to fit them! i think its rather pricey! but worth it give someone else the stress i say
  12. the garret are fine for this! they are around $1200 each and would get you where you want to go! but as said if your going to replace your turbos, its a must you do the dumps and front pipe! later on down the track your going to do this! and its a big job and probably cheeper for you to get it done while replacing turbos

Yeah well hes got the rotor, all he needs to do is make one exactly the same right? it cant be too hard! haha everything else on the car (caliper bracket and caliper) will be staying the same. as the kits well made. i think he was just asking me these questions to see if it might be worth while changing the caliper bracket also (if its poorly made)

  15. I've been asked to see if my pad is flush with the rotor. i'm not too sure what he means. I'm getting custom hats made up to suit an off the shelf rotor easy replacment rotor (but not dba as i hear they wear quickly)

  17. I remember reading somewhere that it might not work? but i cant be sure! i want to repaint mine but cant have the car off road for long so looking at getting some new ones to paint is anyone able to tell me if it will fit or not? Cheers Andrew
  18. Yeah i been eying off a sti forester for quiet some time now. i really like them and they're not that much different in price compared to a newish turbo forester here. someone private import one for me!
  19. i dont think its that easy is it? from memory its only certian rb30's that can be used? someone can correct me on this maybe? for all your rb30 conversion have a good read of this. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/52458-rb...-lots-pics.html it provides alot of info from a home built rb30 in a 32 gtr
  20. i'm running a048's hit the limiter for launch, probably bounce for a bit and wait for rev to drop and pick up again then go for second. the the rest is pretty simple. i am sure i could improve on my 60ft with a tamer launch and a shorter shift to second. without hitting the limiter so much. but it does sound good haha
