any way you go with venting is going to have a positive effect on cooling. your now just worried about rain? most of the engine is waterproof. or should be so there isnt that much of a problem. and while its running thisgs are pretty hot and water isnt too much of a worry. p.s. whats rain?

hey mate, i recently got a z tune vent moulded into my 32gtr bonnet i noticed around 15+ degree drop in engine temp. and rain gets in. but i dont really notice it bieng dirty or anything. just made sure the seal around my cam covers and coils is in good form! just adding to the thread after reading the rest of it.. i have been pulled over by police on a number of occasions and nothing ever mentioned about the bonnet, or headlight.. or anything for that matter.

e boost 2 is about 800 bucks right? hks evc 4 limited black ftw! and at only about 600 bucks to your door its a winner

my car previously had another controler on it and there are a few lines blocked off with screws in the ends. one line goes to fuel reg. one to turbo/accuators and one to bottom of the intake chamber at the rear of it.

hey mate. not sure if it applies to you, but when i installed the evc 4. the lines and solonoid unit apparently have to be facing upwards.

Driving up the main road yesterday with my old man, we encounted two dickheads both on green p's in fwd hair dresser's cars with cannon exhausts weaving in and out of two lanes passing cars and cutting back in when there were parked cars. only to be stopped up by a red light in the end anyway. i can see why the public cant stand idiots driving like this and i am all for it.

No there is a setting in the menu for the power fc's own boost control kit. this needs to be turned off if your not using it. i beleive it will make the car stall. which it did when i put a power fc into my gti-r

is the power fc boost control kit connected? using different boost control? turn off boost control in the power fc menu.

the only thing i can tell you is. the boost level is fine, even in the weather. and that silver box is standard!

hey evc 4 it is.. if your looking at the previous model i posted. kpa is exactly the same as bar. just x 100 so it isnt really anything to worry about. 150kpa = 1.5 bar.. pretty simple
