I agree with All of you, if your here in oz get it built here. you will be paying atleast 1500aud for freight here. + if they list your motor as $20,000 apon import expect to pay more. i've spent around 20k on a new motor here. this included bringing in a used r34 n1 motor and buying all the parts listed in my for sale thread in the signature. the work done will be top notch, and the port job should be amazing ... its taken long enough not including my clutch and turbos/gearbox..
  12. I saw that one for sale and wanted the wing it really sets em apart from the others. great buy! looks like alot of aftermarket stereo and navi unit in there! you might actually be able to get that navi to work.. unlike all of us with the factory system.. congrats on the buy!!
  13. I'm sold on the 4088r 1.06a/r unless strik3r comes up with something better with the 3788 found on the uk forum 2.7L high lift cams 1 bar by around 3500 with a 4088r on a cheap manifold..
  14. I concur, however i still will have a few months to make my decision. but my car space needs to make way for a boat so its gotta happen soon i think a few uk boys have done it might have a peek over there. also waiting on strik3rs 3788r graph.
  15. Yew, i wasnt saying 20kg on the nose. but 20 something.. you'd be spending a bit on lexan and grinder discs.. (also i wasnt sure if i checked if they were side intrusion jobs too) p.s. i didnt see your post either
  16. cant see why not man, you will need a nice custom dual to single entry from the box to the turbo. or cut a bigger hole in the arc box but you'll loose the bell mouth bits which i think help the flow.
  17. after fixing my turbo pressure pipe. i have been clocking 500km's easily in the volvo.. and this is with the same thirsty driving i was doing when i was getting 400's if not more pedal now i have more boost
  18. 270 11.2mm cams tho the rev/power range is going to be somewhat over 4-5k.. motor will rev to around 9500 or there abouts. big single might be the way to go i think. exactly. i am running c/r gearbox also and cf prop shaft, might change diff's too but thats up in the air.. i think the big single is going to be good. From what i can gather these cars run t88 34d's and are circuit cars. and looks fun a bit of playing around it looks like This is a few quick laps from him

  20. Ah sweet, an update on that one in here would be greatly appreciated! my mate who works for a customs/exhaust shop keeps telling me to go bigger than the 35r and similar. i would love a 4088r however.. Cheers Andrew

After the 18 pages or so i think its about time i needed to chime in on this thread, i'm up in the air when it comes to turbo selection for my Built stock capacity Rb26, since i've not seen the motor yet i'd say i've had a fair bit of porting/head work done since i put in 270 cams and 11.2 lift.. now i am really up in the air on which turbo to choose. since i want some silly power but would like something responsive too. i guess this gtr's rev range is going to be alot higher up now with the cams. so anything under 3.54k isnt going to concern me. My old N1 high flows came on hard at 3 and pulled till 9 i may go back to them if i dont get the right single. Gt35 seems right... but i wouldnt mind a bit more top end and they dont seem to go over well over 25psi according to a few here? waiting on the results from the 3788r and the 4088r might be right.. but could be a bit too doey down low and not even crack positive boost untill 5k perhaps a different companys turbo should be on the cards? i've not even thought about the garrett to4z or hks equivalent but should i think about it? And then on top of it all what rear housing? i'm guessing a .99 or 1.0 or something dew to my head flowing alot more. will be running split pulse too..? every other aspect of the car should be up to the task, box, diff, fuel system, brakes, suspension.. but maybe not the driver haha.

If the one on ebay are from Jdm yard and the price is right for you guys. go for it. they are awesome guys to deal with. i got mine thru there and told him the part numbers so he could do something about them.. he is a rda dealer also and gets good prices tell em I sent you (Andrew with the Gtr/m35 stagea)

  24. I got a set of gtr doors at home, 32kg, they still have most of the bits inside. minus the outer interior skins/trims you could easily get them down to 20 something by removing motors and adding winders or something and cutting a bit
  25. Can someone tell me what replacment bulb i get for the factroy lights? i think thats what i have. can adjust inside car. one globe flickers on and off while driving sometimes. would annoy the f**k out of anyone driving near me..
