On the topic of coilovers/suspension, i have the tein kit on my car, it gets a little bouncy in the rear end still.. what do i do to fix this problem?

Scott, i have seen my friends use some sort of thick vinyl/plastic for the intake on his vw beetle where his custom runners/carby setup meets the heads. cant see why it couldnt be used here.

Yer i get the same clunks too. so it is kinda normal eh? i thought it may have had something more to do with the mis matched tyres i was running, as i made a mistake for a few days running 55's on the rear and 45's on the front. the other way around it was terrible! not i have half worn 45's on the rear and brand new 40's on the front. Craig, howd you go with the bell housing business? i'm still chasing up that number for you for rdg, hes not workin in his shop at the moment however.

yeah usually you can just make out the numbers on the front turbo.. its a trick angle to look down at also. it will be in the centre of the turbo just infront of where the manifold mounts to the turbo..

Yo scotty look into doughnuts made from alloy. will save you alot of time. should be able to get one to fit that radius

Defiantly agree with you Craig I think the 32/33 box would be a good option. but just for ease i was thinking along the lines of finding something else.. Dont forget clutches also i'll have another chat with beau about the bell housing. unless you've found someone? p.s. i had a puncture on the weekend. had some spare tyres from some gtr wheels i had. 215 40 17// i got them fitted without thinking on sat morning. original 215/55/17 on the rear, and i have 215/40/17 on the front.. i had the smaller on the rear at first and was getting vibrations.. smaller on the front seems ok. but i know its going to drive the car crazy.

I'd go standard rebuild/steel wheel version.. as the guys with power seem to be having gearbox issues correct??
