  1. Yeah i think it may be easier. but just alot of pissing about chasing information.. any links to this z33? it will be easier and cheaper in the end to work this way.. it is nissan afterall. surely they have used common parts somewhere here.
  2. my friend said try look at going the other way 350z or other vq box but add the gtr transfer to it?
  3. not sure yet. might be good to think about another box that will take the transfer in the rear? i will have a chat to him again. and see what he says.. its a tricky one for sure. what about the imput shaft length etc? there are alot of variables to consider yeah? does the crank have a cutout for the tip of the imput shaft to go in aswell? i've never really seen an auto box/engine before

Hey Craig, was going to call today, i spoke with my friend, and he palmed me off to another friend of his, rd&g engineering whom he used to work for he has mills and the like said either an adaptor plate or cut and weld a bell housing, said no price. as it would be a time consuming thing.. best bet would be to find a bell housing that would fit to the engine, and the 32 box.. said it could be possible.

I've had a word to my friend who drives lots of high powered cars, tunes them etc.. before turbos rebuilt i had 398hp at the wheels. after we did the dumps and turbos he said there would have been a very responsive 500hp with alot more left in it. i need to dig out boxes tonite to get photos since these were going back on my car i had them packed away with all my other bits and pieces.

  12. Never had it dynoed after the turbos went on.. but there was alot. i was running about 1.6 bar would have a stab and say in the ranges of 500-550hp it would pull very hard from around 2900-9000 car also had small bolt in cams

Got a set of gtr turbos that came off my 32.. they were originally R34 N1's which i had rebuild while changing dumps a few years ago. the center cartridge was changed as garrett had no stock at the time, they were given a larger front wheel +5mm and the same rear. they are now similar to a gt-rs turbo but with the r34n1 rear exhaust housing. so this eliminates the lag people complain about with gt-rs they are very responsive and a very good combo. no problems with them at all. i just need the money for a holiday in feb. they would have gone back on my car when i get the engine back but Heli skiing in Alaska is calling my name! @ 1000usd a day.. $2200 ono they would have under 5000km's on them engine went pop on cyl #6 will get some photos up shortly
  14. My friend his a pot hole in his r32 golf. f**ked one rim. (car has no spare) took photos of hole, sent all the shit to the local council rim replaced pot hole fixed, tow truck paid for. In todays society you can bet someone has already made a complaint to the council about the hole/
  15. drove a r32 gtr with massive wing, roll cage, semi slicks, 400+hp on the road for 3 years without only bieng pulled once for missing my p plates.... and one breath test station outside a school one morning along with other cars..

Hey, my key wont lock, it opes fine every time but just the locking button seems a little dicked. i've tried to fix the joints on the button and have a little fiddle but no good.. if i was to buy a used key from yahoo japan, (around 20 bucks) and pull it apart and use the transponder unit program using the steps on here should i be sweioooot??

I have a r3c.. i find it ok, it is rather on and off like you've noticed but you get used to it after a little bit. as 9k said.. get some heat into it, as i do find after a bit of a drive it gets better. since the cars been out of action i have been at the gym working on that left leg to keep it in shape

I doubt you'd like the warranty.. used car warrantys are a crock of shit really.. my friend had to replace his gearbox on his 180sx.. i could have got him one installed for around 600 including a reco box.. he ended up having to pay about the same.. on top of his warranty (which only covered a small amount). and couldnt get it done at a place he wanted.. As for my noise.. i am sure its only the ac.. seems to be fine with it off.. i am up to the 100,000 tho..
  23. Yeah it sounds like it could be a concept.. since the rear part is the same as a 34 or 33/32 transfer that should bolt up.. 32 boxes are cheap

  25. belhousing shouldnt be a problem to modify craig. i see the guys at westside who worked on the dumps, modify strange engine/gearbox combo's belhousings all the time for race cars.. next time i have my car up on the hoist.. i will check the sizes of the center for the 34box compared to the auto section of the stagea the transfer looks the same.. so maybe just a change of the centre is needed??
