  10. Hey Paul i think its a great idea, i thought it be close for us and my friend has used them a few times before.. i'm still yet to know if mine is going to cause a problem. i'll proably take it over there just incase, and to think i was going to have my car running by the time i got this shaft haha.
  11. i just went and bought tomei 270 11.8mm and tomei buckets.. obviously needs work for cam lobe clearance and buckets replaced. i thought since the bottom end will be pretty soild, the top end deserves a bit of a tickle too.. i'll prob have a set of hks or tomei cams for sale that will suit standard buckets. will get them measured up when i pull em out.
  12. I would buy the used re55 or similar from gordon levin, 40% or less usually on them run them on my car for the whole year on the street, driving quiet often i would go thru a used set in about 3-4 months. @ 50 bucks a pop or whatever they were thats pretty good for the level of grip in all conditions!
  13. Good work Duncan!! glad its all finally worked out for you.. p.s. post up some more complete laps i love eastern creek!
  14. Haha i had to push that thing backwards up a driveway the other day! it sounds and looks mean!

  16. Read thru this. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm As for oils Mineral oil for the first 500 - 1000 km's perhaps even less! everyone seems to have their own ideas.
  17. Hey Keith, you may aswell post em up anyway it appears we're all going to need to do this! if i get my work done early today i'll see how my 32 shaft mounts up with the 34 box.. hopefully there wont be a problem.. As for Paul... Propellar shaft services i think is in edgar street... googleing now http://www.propellershaftservices.com.au/ I just sent them an email. i guess if we can organize to get a few shafts together for balancing that would be good
  18. your a crazy man for putting standard turbos back onto a fresh motor!!!!
  19. Nice work Keith, Glad this has turned out ok for you! You should notice more response... not really power, if you get bored try the stock vs carbon again with a dyno plot.. i'll give mine a go like this i guess when i can find a dyno willing to strap me in. so most of us will need adaptor plates similar eh? that seems about it! shouldnt be a problem but i'll have to go custom also since i have the r34 box in my car
  20. Hey i'll try find out, its down in the milperra factory area.
  21. Hey Chris, You've made me think now! i bought one in the group buy that passed a few months back! i bought mine for a r34, (since i bought an r34 motor thinking i had all the accessories off it) i cant remember if i bought the 1000hp model or not. starting to hope i did now But i do recall someone saying remove the ac belt when racing.. not a problem for me now since a/c has been pulled out!
