  1. Give that number a call tomorrow that 34Midnight posted.
  2. Haha thanks guys, now that i do think about it you are right. i was thinking bikes but obviously not thinking right. i wont be changing the engine gear, only the rear but i will try put the biggest engine gear i have on. i will have to ask the go kart shop what they'd recommend.. but i cant see myself getting off the throttle at all with the current gearing p.s. i think you need to add a commodore badge to that thing you posted
  3. yeah yee i got you we wont be doing much paying anyone over here, we're mainly just importing goods and wholesale. factory rent will be free (hopefully) and most other costs will also be within us, i guess transport will be one of the costs we're paying.. but i see that everything else we spend (even if its not business related ) we will get the gst back? thats what your saying? i should really see an accountant, but i still get lost in their words!
  4. Hey Nathan, your better off trying to talk to James and not Paul. i got all your messages forwarded to me and your reply etc if you truly want to pull out now than James is the one to speak to but i'm not too sure how the return of money will go
  5. Possibly 3k in labour + parts on building your motor. depending on what you get done etc. if your going to use mahles you will be looking at Around 2-5k in parts. also depending on what you do with rods and depending on how bad your motor is broken n1 turbos will be a direct replacment. you will either need a nissan full engine gasket kit (or another brand?) i tend to use nissan stuff as i have had problems with other cars and aftermarket gasket kits in the past. conrod bearings too.. but a must is oil restrictor to head, and oil return from head to sump (a trader on here makes up the fitting you need) p.s. there is probably moar to mention but i am out of time for now..
  6. you sure about that? i'd have thought having a large rear sprocket would give me a higher top end??
  7. Hows that shaft going?? you guys got it fitted yet and was it all ok?? in the beginning if there was one they'd f**k up i'd have thought it was yours..
  8. Perfect, Once again i've not had any reply what so ever... Whats phone number were you contacting this dickhead on?
  9. i got mine for about 800 with rods which were about the same price. but then i was raped by the import duty man.. 5 bucks over 1000 declaired dollars..
  10. The oil pump collar is to enlarge the crank drive to suit later pumps the 33 and 34 have a larger crank drive for the oil pumps. a return oil drain at the back of the head is the new thing to do with the rb26.
  11. haha disclaimer.. cheers for that. so at the end of the day the gst likes to put its arm elbow deep up my ass.. so after selling the product we would really have paid gst twice. (tho the customer pays the second lot)
  12. Also gst credits? can someone explain this if they can?? cheers
  13. Hey, I'm about to start importing containers of new product. (Nothing car related at all) i will have a rather big gst payable on importation (somewhere around 8k) i've asked a question to my import broker about cutting costs down somewhere or anywhere and he mentioned deferred gst and setting it up.. i've gone to the ato website and cant find what its actually about. anyone here can shed some light on it? Cheers
  14. Shit.. haha yeah crap horses!! anyway will have to keep looking now
  15. Will just find my photos... apparently they need notching to clear the oil squirters. but will have to see about that one you'd think that thay would be a straight fit. i still have not had mine fitted yet. i've put a stop to my engine build for a few weeks...
  16. Question..... Does anyone know whats happening at oran park on the 30th of this month.. Sunday? i've herd an open/free day for go karts around the whole circuit? i think i am going to need the biggest sprocket i can find..
  17. its a tricky one for sure! and can be costly.. often you find yourself doing a rebuild as soon as that head comes off. simply because "you may aswell" but it surely out turns for the better when you end up with a good reliable quick car.
  18. So what do you guys get out of a stagea from full to empty? and its 80L tank?? i'm currently driving a hilux slurrrpppppppp and i get 400-450 max on a 65L turbo diesel tank @ 1.35-1.50c per L
  19. Not a great deal of point on a gtr/gts-t unless your using it for a speical purpose (mainly quick drag racing) or perhaps quick hill climbs? or in a engine bay as said above that doesnt have much airflow (rear mounted engines etc) the idea is using minimal pipe work to counter lag, you can mount a barrel cooler close to the throttle/throttles/turbo outlet. and well up in the engine bay to minimise pipe work. keeping something like dry ice in the reservoir like some drag cars would is a good idea, but wouldnt last too long in a street car..
  20. did anyone ever find an english version? like the first poster i'm really after gearbox drawings for the r43 gtr no other manual i find on the interwebs has it
  21. I want one!! Its really the pick of the bunch for sure, if someone would steal my hilux slurrrrppp i would get one as soon as i could!! tho i think i like the stock wheels on that colour did you import yourself/broker or buy locally?
  22. Somebody needs a visit from the website police.
  23. Ouch Mark, Hopefully your hands are ok
