  1. do you have to turn car off and back on again to get the settings to stay in? i've not fiddled with a power fc for a while tho maybe not true, as i remember sitting at lights and adjusting the launch control (gti-r) and that changed right away. now there was a few funny looks from other motorists, Bang bang bang bang!
  2. Hey Paul, That is correct Apparently its taking some time for James to get a quote from usps. from what i can see. usually Paul(sts) gets alloy shafts from california for around 120-130 a piece. we had included in our deal 300 worth of shipping. if we can get that screwed down correctly 12x160ish $1900us in savings that will offset the exchange problem.
  3. And i've decided i dont want to spend any more.... mmm bootlid.. its surely a concept!! but i think bills to be paid is the option at the moment!
  4. 550-800us = 700ish for the lower scale and just under 1000 for top. i bought Mahle pistons and pauter rods from these people came to just under $1800 @ .95c conversion a few weeks back.. did not take much time to get here at all.
  5. many out there for under 1k.. look at the website i posted.

  9. Yeah i would have gathered they are made to spec, who actually makes them? I figure, Mahle still make their own, along with cosworth perhaps too? and possibly one of the american companies maybe wiseco??
  10. I actually only started drinking beer in the last few months. so its a possibility its on the cards now haha
  11. now how many kids in their fords and commodores are going to crash around homebush trying to be supercars!!
  12. He is like that eh, haha i trust that everything is ok, as i have copies of emails sent from james also. and james has sent me some too. i do really hope the shipping problem is resolved quickly tho! it sure it taking a while!
  13. to add to the post above. can someone confirm Hks, tomei etc make their own pistons? i know Jun were done by cosworth, i'd think piston making equiptment to be quiet expensive. so many things are outsourced these days. i'd suspect only a few places world wide who actually make them.

  21. still waiting guys.. I think paul is pushing james to find a better shipping quote to get us out of the shit. As i said before, we were getting charged 300, when paul gets many other shafts over for 120-130.. i will update as soon as i do find out about anything tho!
  22. i'd say they will be alot more high flow than the standard 15 year old cat still on your import when it comes in a problem with skylines and most imports, they run a bit rich on the standard computers and this will clog up a cat in no time! your better off going with a cat around the $300 mark aka a cat with a metallic core.
  23. Yerrp the top photo is the metallic core one and my friends dont have problems with these installed onto 500+hp rotors
  24. which cats are they refering to.. they all say high flow. blah blah one is ceramic and called xforce highflow cat the other is metallic and is called racing cat which flows over 800cfm ??
  25. the problem with xforce is, people think this is a high flow cat when realistically its just as cheap and ceramic as any other cat on the market.. around (160) and is perfect for emmisions etc. i figure most people are using this type as it comes with xforce exhaust systems. now for real high flowing cats with a metallic core. this is an xforce item and these are very good! my friend installs them all the time, and never had any problems what so ever on alot of very high hp cars!
