  1. I agree, so i really have 13 people who were quoted 1400, and will only pay 1400. there was no mention about currency rates in any of the emails. i've not had a reply from him yet so i am still waiting.

Yeah this is what i figure, fair enough if we were dealing direct with acpt i probably would have done the same thing myself. tho i am sure i would have sent the final deposit alot quicker than the time stuffing about with the Aussie distributor. i will see what i can do.. i dont really want to have to pay more since it isnt really my problem since they stepped in. thats a cutting from the original email.
  3. wouldnt think so. you should be ok by just replacing the exhaust with straight through pipe.
  4. i'm not too sure when it comes to the cars ecu's but know there is software out there to do this. it seems like a pretty pain in the ass way to do things, dont you have to remove the eeprom to make adjustments to maps etc?? can you tune "live"?? i only know about eeprom stuff through work, which is not car related. more onto Gaming machines, bill acceptors etc etc.
  5. Hey Chris, did you happen to get that Cf shaft back yet? as for the acc valve? is that all the shit under the intake side of the motor? can it be removed easily? and does it cause problems? (other than adjusting the throttles to idle) i dont have afm's and i use fcon pro v Glad you sorted the problem! and Richard, haha geeee no problem keeping you occupied with toys!! Andrew
  6. So you've spun a main bearing?? which ones did you use? a bit more info on the parts that have failed would help out solve this.

Hello everyone, Was ment to be happening this week. i did get an email from Sts, about needing more money since the Aud/Usd has fallen out since the order was placed.. this however i think should only be paid on the Last deposit i made, $10480 there was around a 7-10c drop which i think makes up 700 or so dollars.. Sts said he was to do some calculations. if we should be even paying this at all. since they (Sts) stepped in and changed it to Aud. and i was quoted 1400Aud per shaft.. tho at the end of the day. we're still getting a huge discount on what we have bought, so whatever way this swings, i dont mind. The shafts were ment to be ready now and shipping this week.. tho i have not herd anything as of yet, it is a bit slow back and forth with Me to Sts to the Us. If anyone can find out, how were we looking around mid june for the usd/aud conversion?? Will keep everyone posted in what becomes of this.. Andrew

Around 7 minutes to erase an eeprom under uv light, tho if you dont have an eraser, leave it outside with the sticker off the window and it may take alot longer depending on the day. as for burning then eeprom its not all that hard.. but your going to need more than just a blank eeprom to get this working.

  14. take the turbo off, and take it to someone who fixes them or can have a look. i would be able to suggest someone here in sydney/woolongong. but your in townsville. if the turbo spins freely when it was out of the car, and everything has gone back on correctly its either going to be something very very silly. or as people have said the turbo isnt right..

I've been looking at that guide in the nissan manual, which has led me to ask these questions as i figured from what i read there are many different combinations needed. as the numbers/letters vairy on the crank and on the block. its going to be a job left up to my engine builder and i ordered all my Arp parts.. but nothing has come off the cc, or there is no contact in america from the guys. they are in what i can figure out Minneapolis. i dont think thats anywhere down south where all the problems just were..

  21. Your item is being processed by customs in AUSTRALIA. Sweet pistons and rods will be here tomorrow or thursday, usps says the 3rd but this could mean america's dates. i will get onto the bearing thing soon. there wasnt any known problems with acl bearings? old stocks? etc etc?

  23. what happened to this car?? yeah acl are good price, ebay usa and stores for around 100 usd. but 150 sounds better.
  24. i wish i went with normal dumps like tomei or something single and large, i'm using the trust split front/dump in one its rather large and kind of heavy. i would kind of agree that split dumps were a fad? they might work, but when at full throttle, and max boost the gate is open to regulate the boost.. perhaps thats where the turbulence happens

Yeeerp i kept note of where every thing came out of all numbered etc etc. tho some of the nismo numbers are no longer listed on their website or in any web stores.. i might give it another search around for the numbers and see what i can come up with. tho i guess i may aswell just let him buy them as they are not that expensive.
