umm according to the seller on yahoo, r34 n1 motor and engine number is high and resembles this.
but it was installed into a r32 in japan hence the 32 cas
as for the top covers they are all repainted.. anything is possible..
Uhha, that was the go with the old motor/one that came in the car, and it lasted 3 years
head seems to be standard also, and has 05u stamped on it? i figure n1 motors use standard heads??
block is 24u tho.
i shall get it checked and checked again then! tho if i am to go that far i may aswell get new pistons/rods put in right?

So the motors finally here r34 n1 motor which is used..
Before i go about installing this i guess i should test it out.
I have a leak down tester at home and will do this. also compression, but clearly needs car to turn over to do that job.
anything else i should do? maybe remove the head and check it all out???

Got mine this morning and looking at it now,
since i was silly and thought i had a 34n1 which i do, but i am using a 32 power steering pump.. DOH!! i might have to mod the power steering pump to suit!
and also no a/c which i guess wont be that much of a problem just no belt to go on the middle pulley.

as for time frame, still unsure, still in queue as we got in just after big promotions for Acpt.. which has caused a delay.
are 34 cams any different from 32 ones? i thought all i had to change was the cas depending on which cams i wanted to use.
tho i think my Used motor was already in a 32 and comes with 32 cas/cams. and also already has cams too apparently.
i still wouldn't mind knowing is its a good idea to get the bottom end balanced on the 34 n1 motor. or is the factory job good?
I have a question regarding the diff in the 34 motor,
actually i dont. i think my 34 n1 motor was in a r32. so the front diff should be fine...
how do i make sure of this?
Also.... if i was able to pump around 400rwhp + out of my r32 motor that had 33n1 pistons.
what can i push out of the 34 N1 motor?? should i be able to get somehwere near a safe 500hp at the wheels?
