i drove my car for about 2 weeks on 5 cylinders. it just didnt come on boost very well and when it did it made loads of smoke

and is this happening in episode 6?? and the last for the season too? looks like they came back just to report on the nissan gtr and end the season..??

could even be broken engine? my cracked piston did alot of smoke when i booted it. if everything else fails, try getting a compression test done.

Mine should be here soon did a similar thing with my 32, N1 r33 pistons cracked #6 or broken rings, still block not out of car. As said use the r32's cas, and i think there are a few other plugs, but just use whatever off your 32 motor on the 34 one. everything above looks good, tho i think the sump is the same as standard? I'd like to know if it would be worth balancing the bottom end again tho? i am thinking of leaving mine stock and just balance, ati damper, oil return and oil restrictor.

also bleed the pump which is above the diff. there should be a how to somewhere around this place

so if one was to want no wasted spark for a 6cyl, the v88 is the way to go.. from a non idea persons view. aka myself. is wasted spark really an issue? what problems arise from this?

Yahoo, but just reading this thread, it looks like i need to hunt down a r34 power steering pump now. as i just realised my motor doesnt come with the pump and i will need to use the r32 gear.. oh well not really that much of a worry

yeah pretty sure its a viscous here is info from the gti-r forum that i frequent What is the torque split for the 4WD system? 50/50 What sort of diffs does it have? - Front diff (inside the transfer case) is an OPEN type (except for the RB models) [Ratio = 0.270] - Centre diff (inside the gearbox) is a Viscous LSD type [Ratio = 4.125 = Final Drive] - Rear diff is a Viscous LSD type [Ratio = 3.7] that should clear some things up
