  1. Some people hey haha. there are the facts from two owners of both gti-r and gtr's and i figure we both made the change as we wanted cars that steered into corners well hell if the gti-r had a split system like the gtr i wouldnt have sold my tomei built gti-r motor/car and upgraded to a gtr....
  2. Hehe just past auto sport s15 @ the start, Get back in a Gtr Greg!!!! nice video!
  3. But your just getting information off other clueless dickheads with clearly NO idea, How about you look at the gtir's system mechanically. it does not have anything inside the mechanics that will give it any more than a 50/50 split. there are no clutch pack transfer cases like the GTR no clutch packs or gtr transfer case fitting in there If your still under some delusion that you can torque split your gti-r than go ahead. and good luck to you THE GTR/GTI-R SYSTEMS SHARE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON
  4. The GTI-R is a constant 4wd 50/50 car, it does NOT vairy the split between front and rear at all. The GTI-R does not have the same 4wd system as the GTR, it may share a similar name but they are so unrelated! the GTI-R uses a center diff which is not variable, and can not be adjusted to split torque, only a worn/broken diff will cause the gti-r to be more rwd The GTR uses a transfer case with clutches belts whistles etc to split torque between front rear and is controlled electronically and can be varied with controllers And thats all folks!!! Trust me i have owned both, and pulled apart both!!
  5. Wheres My f**kin engine!!@$!@#!%!@#$%!$@ hehe.
  6. Hey guys, Not really an update, but our order is placed @ Acpt, thats all i really have to report on at the moment! unsure about wait and time, will let everyone know when its time! Cheers Andrew
  7. NO, the gti-r can not run any more than its stock 50/50 it is not the same system as a gtr.. you could however buy a special center diff that may split 40/60.. i do recall something about these when i owned a gti-r but trust me when i say the torque can not be split between the front rear etc etc.. If the Gti-r system was similar to the Gtr, i wouldn't have sold my under steering pig to get what i have today..
  8. Oucccchhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that would probably be me, i banned myself from oran park!
  9. Haha i saw that before too, when showing my friend the photos. i swear i saw two more rotors there. maybe fastest backwards rotary? or fastest to blow up rotary!!
  10. Was a good day out, tho i was only there for around 3 hours in the morning, didn't run into anyone at all really.. except for "Smokey" and of cause went to see how Team Autosport were going! and good work greg!! Was trying to say hello to mr DIRT GARAGE, but this was around the catch can time so you were rather busy running about! the r35 i came to see go around and around. but i wasnt too impressed........ it needs some sound!!!!! other than that i cracked a semi bar. still do want!! hopefully my car will be good for eastern creek.. if thats where the next one will be.
  11. f**k the V8's. tho i do agree the racing is pretty close to fair. both makes are rather even in all aspects! but they have not dont much at all for racing in Australia. they seem to suck the money out of the sport for everyone else tho i do agree, Ec is not good for spectators, i hope they do cop funding from the government, and this second track they were thinking about does go thru..
  12. crikey, i never check this thread..... Err.. denso make all injectors i was led to believe??? i'd say one of the biggest japanesse manufactures and these are close to sold Cheers
  13. BD4's / Tom can still tune the fcon pro. send him an email [email protected] he will help i am sure!
  14. A front Pipe may give you a little bit, But its the dumps that will make the more noticeable difference. but very correct on when you change the dumps.... you may aswell change the turbos at the same time.. unless your only going to want 14psi all the time, which should only last a few weeks... MOAR boost!
  15. I've noticed Axis model starting from 1.2mil and upwards. so 20k could be done but condition/km's may be another story..

Hey Nick, i've got them on a 32, tho i cant really say i have done much track time. and the time i was out there i had a bob jane wheel alignment and it was shocking! before it died i had it done correctly and they said most of the arms were ceased and there was no what bob jane's people would have done shit all.. anyway, i do find it quiet balanced, and pulls up very quick!
