  1. bump. come on guys 250 is cheap as
  2. hey guys last nyt driving home along nepean hwy, a truck in front of me, semi, had its trailer hit a tree that was partly overhangng onto the road. the branch snapped and ended up on the road, i couldnt swerve to avoid it and i hit the branch and blew out my front tyre. does vic roads maintain the trees along road sides? if so am i able to claim compensation for the busted rim and get them to pay for the repair or replacement of the rim? has anybody had a similar issue with brought up with vic roads? im thinking of ringing them and seeing if i get anything out of them. cheers daniel
  3. have u had all 4 tyres checked for vertical alignment and wheel alignment? its recommended to ensure that they still sit in their standard positions.

  6. hey guys, went to put new hub rings on my 34gtt today and found one of my hub bolts is cross threaded and it snapped. mate has 33 rotors spare at home, will i be able to use these? cheers daniel
  7. email the guy on ebay who sells these and he can organise for you to go to his factory and show you the covers.
  8. +1 if a reliable tune and maintance schedule is done with an rb25 with that power, the rb26 will be indistructable
  9. i had in my 33 a safc2 and emanage (not at the same time), and before i got rid of it i tested a power fc out in my car for a mate who bought 1 for his build, was already tuned for similar mods to my car, and it shat all over both the previous systems i had. i got a 34 now and i wont be getting anything other than a pfc. also 1500 is if u want a new 1, u can get 1 for a rb25det for about 900-1000 second hand no hand controller. u dont need the controller to tune as tuners just plug in a lap top or if u do it. my 2 cents
  10. not the embroidery, its a logo embossing that is free and it looks cheap. if i was gonna buy these i would get them with nothing from the company, just get a place to do the gt badge only.
  11. most of the embroidery places around melbourne can do a job like that. all you need is a digital image of it. and at hthe same time i would get the cover done after i put it on for a trial fit first. will allow you to pick where the emroidery is. more accurate than guessing roughly centre.
  12. a) find a set of rims to run around with for 2-3days. b) drop rims off (no tyres) to thomastown sand blasting (ur website is the correct place) c) pick rims up after about 3-4hours usually or ask them to have the rims taken to powder coater d) drop rims at northern powdercoating, wrong place u got on the link, they are about 15 places further down commercial drive, 2 secs from thomo sand blasting. e) pick up rims from powdercoat next day and put tyres on. (if sand blaster gave it to powder coat then pick up will be from sand blaster so u can pay him) just a quick thing too, any centres caps will need to be removed too, sand blasting will destroy anything that isnt metal. at the same time the powder coating place will ggive u a can of touch up for centre caps when u get ur rims, if its one of their colours. gloss black would be.
  13. bump. open to offers
  14. for melb, get thomastown sand blasting to blast them, bout 25 a rim, and then northern powder coating, bout 30 a rim to powder coat for ya. i gt my stockies done in a high gloss white, cost me 180 all up cos i got sand blasting to send them for powder coat and they get a discount better than i could get.
  15. ebay mate, 599 with free postage. thats just front and rear seats. he charges extra for the doors, gear boot, hand brake, and parcel shelf. also he doesnt embroid the gt part. u have to get that done urself. that photo was taken on a customer car that the owner had that custom embroided on.
  16. Item: GFB Boost FX Age:4months Condition:near new Price: $150 ono To Fit: (What car) any Location: Reservoir, melb Contact: 0423 089 477 (daniel) Comments: on my car for aboutn 2months, was originally sold now seller has fallen through and its back up for sale. 17. how much for just the power fc with NO commander? also does it have hand controller
  18. post prices or they'll close the thread.
  19. on start up does the car still run rough or has this stopped completely? doesnt stall anymore? thats good if its problem fixed. as for running rich, stick the car on a dyno and get it tuned again. imo a power fc doesnt learn like a standard computer, so a tune will be needed (correct me if im wrong). since it was tuned for a small side mount it only expects so much and now your cooling alot more air in a larger space. my 2cents
  20. depending on the boost controller will depend on how hard it is to remove. if its a t-piece (mechanical) type, bout 10mins tops. electronic type maybe a bit longer. if ur in the northern burbs and want a hand let me know
  21. will the king springs go into a 34 aswell?
  22. i made 190rwkw on 10psi in my old 33. i had similar mods only i had a safc2 instead of pfc. i had 3" zorst, hybrid fmic, r32 actuator (10psi), and safc. made 190.8rwkw on created motorsport dyno. change ur pump and ull find the car wont lean out on top end and you should see 195-200rwkw on the stock turbo and 10-12psi of boost. IMO i would leave the boost at 10psi and tune. see how it goes. dont wind it up to 12 as a standard turbo wont like that for too long and will eventually shit itself. if u plan on a bigger turbo soon then go on 12 and see how long it lasts.
  23. seen many unmarked cars around northern burbs. grey xr6t and xr8 utes with all the aerials lying flat in the open tray white mitsi 380 2 ss commo's with rims and zorst (epping to thomm) trying to get ppl to drag them (they tried it with me) and a heap of others too. imo drive naurally and ull be fine.
