  1. if ur in melb and have concerns bout wat u doing, send me a pm and i can help u out if u want
  2. plumbers tape is a thin white elastic tape also known as teflon tape. you just stretch it over the bolt that u tightening and then screw it back in. most times, a couple of times round is heaps. can buy it from bunnings, super cheap and even auto bahn.
  3. best be hoping that u havent threaded the plenum. if u have, ull have to get the hole filles and retapped or use plumbers tape and just tighten til it feels firm.
  4. yeh just use spray paint, thats wat i did with my greddy cooler on my old 33. onlt thing is that the spray comes off slowly, chipping away with stones and that when u drive. so to help it stay longer, once u know where the stencil is gonna go, use methalated spirits to clean the fins so the paint sticks better.
  5. been insured with just car for 6 yrs now and had good experience in accident situations but not when my 34 got stolen, gave me bit of hell for 6 weeks b4 they paid out. had 2 cars written off by them b4 hand, was a 33 and an 80 model scorpion. but other than that, good experience
  6. hardware lane in the city, 2nd restaurrant on right when u walking down hardware lane from lonsdale st. has candles on tables, jazz band plays near by and good atmosphere.
  7. any updates? been sprayed yet?
  8. u sure the boss kit was for a skyline ?
  9. dependant on where u live, i could give u a hand if u like. there are 2 tamper proof screws and then the airbag just pops out. disconnect the battery first, safest route. next step is to remove the central nuts holding the wheel on, a wheel brace is best here. heres a tip, dont undo the whole screw, leave it on a bit so wen u pull the wheel off (is tight) it doesnt fly off and smack u in the nose. from there on its a piece of cake. if u need anymore help, pm me.
  10. or spend some time on the weekend and just respray all ur pieces and sand if necessary to get a clean finish
  11. a 2 door exhaust wont fit a 4 door as the car itself is longer slightly. if u intent on buyin an apexi, greddy, etc. for the money u could get one made for you. prob 750 for a custom one?
  12. ended up getting a hilux guys, decided to move away from the skylines and then some time down the track build 1 from scratch, buy a shell and mod it to suit me.
  13. how bout the dark grey and chrome lip like they were ash? lol. if i wanted u to have black centes would have bought black centres for me then sold them to u. lol
  14. like the rest have said, wouldnt waste time on ebay cooler, ring jjr and get a price on a return flow system like nick and fit that to ur car. cops can be picky and if they arent in the mood to go a lil easy, cutting a hole in ur engine bay aapron is unroadworthy, engineering certificate would be needed for roadworthy so do the best thing and make sure its a return kit that pipes to standard points.
  15. or post up some pics of both the rear bar and of when it sits on the car
  16. looks like u just need to screw the actuator down all the way and not wound out.
  17. would offer my services but i going away this weekend. btw ash, nice wheels in ur avatar. send me a pic of ur car with them on.
