  1. drive to apollo bay and get teh photo on the pier. its the best spot IMO. from lorne to apollo is only another 20mins. stops wise: do 1 in anglesea opposite the shell servo as you come in and then just drive through, its a mad drive and taking it in is best without stopping. hope weather is good.
  2. computer is your next point of call. get the emanage or save a little longer and get a power fc or microtech lts12. without a computer to back up your other mods it would be pointless getting a new turbo. also you would need a manifld for the turbo coz of the different flange to the stock 1. means more $$$ IMHO save a little more, get a microtech (epa approved as it is tuner lockable) and set your car up properly first time. once you got your comp, you can stretch the stock injectors to 85% duty cycle, and stock turbo to 10psi everyday driving and you'll c a big difference. or better yet, for like 900 do a trade with slide for your stock turbo and get one of his hi flow turbos after you get the comp. fmic, 13psi on slide hi flow, hks intake, 3" turbo back zorst, microtech lts12, 85% duty cycle on stock injectors and you should see around 210-220rwKw. next step, bigger injectors, cams = 230-240rwKw. its up to you.
  3. hand brake is actually playing up atm now. it feels funny. ill have a play today and ill c wat i can do.
  4. yeh it on the hand brake. if u drop it normally when the timer was working it shut the car off instantly. if the hand brake wasnt on when the car was turned off it would beep for like 5secs then shut off.
  5. hey guys i got a greddy full auto turbo timer, it turns on and you can utilise all its features but all of a sudden today, it wont count down when you turn the car off. it has the time ready to go but just wont count? any ideas y? or is it just easier to get an auto elec to look at it? cheers daniel

  9. hey guys wat size is the stock cat? is it metallic or ceramic? i just pulled out the exhaust and seen i got a metallic cat, 2 3/4 inch almost 3". its metallic and looks almost identical to the 3" hi flow that i just bought. could this be an aftermarket cat that just came with the car or is it the standard cat? cheers daniel

  11. check your zorst, i used to have a rattle thaht sounded like was coming from the front of the bay and ended up being a snapped cat zorst nut that let the cat rattle against the front pipe. check the zorst!!

  15. hey guys for my birthday was given a complete set of defi style gauges. i dont need the water temp gauge so its up for sale. its a 60mm gauge with gauge holder and all the necessary requirements to set the gauge up. ITS BRAND NEW IN THE BOX, ONLY OPENED TO ENSURE ALL PARTS ARE THERE. for those who dont know what the defi style gauges are, its the gauge that is black faced when the car is offf and when it is turned on it lights up and displays the reading. am asking $50 + Postage.   17. take it to a tuner man and get them to diagnose, might be worth your while to get a safc2/neo and tune with that, will eliminate some issues and youll be happy. all up prob will be fixed with around 500 odd.
  18. do the best thing you can, get teh pfc tuned now, and then get it tuned again once you do the turbo. for the $300 odd that it will cost you for the second tune it may stop you blowing the motor or doing some serious damage.
  19. dont think they can be re-built, but some1 correct me, i was told that any injector can be hi-flowed like a turbo can. might be worth something
  20. by not running the snorkel all your air box is doing is sucking down hot air that the engine gives off. if its missing down low that could be a coil issue, but b4 u fiddle with anything, get the tune done and get teh tuner to do a diagnose on the engine.
  21. did u check to ensure the afm has got dry cracked solder point? if you checked, do it again, only this time use a soldering iron to heat up the solder points. this will ensure there are no under lying cracks.
