yeh, but if ur running the standard front mount that the GTR's run with pods it isnt, its only defectable if u change the standard cooler for an aftermarket cooler

all depeends but here is a pic of the piping in my 33. i use the standard side pipe for the intake side and then a cross over pipe into the plenum. might be just easier to get a new set of piping, there is a guy in hoppers that will sell u a set of polished aluminum piping for like $150 i think. i paid 400 for my cooler and piping but then upgraded cooler from a friend who smashed his sky and basically gave me his cooler b4 insurance saw it. lol. if ur after the piping, the company is called GK Technologies

lol. being bored on a public hol is the worst so this morn i did a lil painting. what do u guys reckon? painted the fron grill and skyline badge: \ now been considering getting the rest of the engine components powder coated in black, the rocket covers, coil pack cover (sprayed), cross over pipe, cooler piping, and anything that isnt normally black. opinions on that would be helpful too.

with the universal rails will they bolt straight into r33 s1? also are they an approved seat? ie cops cant defect you for the seats?

yeh i know bout pod and front mount, but a friend of mine is a cop and hes seen it, and from a police side of things, that is ok coz you really havent changed the intake just minipulated what you have to keep it legal. thats what he has said to me. im not fussed, epa = pass, cops = pass vic roads dont see the car and if they have a problem with it i have a second lid that isnt cut for insurance

nah man, st kilda on a fri night holds a slightly older generation, 22-25 is the avg age at all clubs on or around fitzroy st, other than area 61 which is just f**ked.

its a standard air box, the cuts on top and side are just a look thing. i didnt melt the snorkel either. its been cut and a heat resistent sealant that i get from work is applied over the side, top and bottom, with gaffa tape along the cut as a base, then is removed when the sealant is dry or its still ok to leave it in. no it isnt defectable, yes its a mod to air intake but doesnt come under the same category mod as a pod filter. doesnt come under a defect. if anything they photo it and ask epa if its classed as a mod. NOT DEFECTABLE - its an EPA ISSUE, NOTHING TO DO WITH RWC pods arent illegal in vic if u are only running a standard side mount cooler, but coz i run a front mount, a pod in my case a) is illegal to have under epa regs and b) its classed as a second air inake mod. you cant have 2 intake mods.

hey guys just thought would show u how i modified my air box. the way i have it is legal in the eyes of the EPA and cops can go jam it basically. you can verify it with EPA before doing this mod if u dont believe me. it allows you to run your standard air box with additional air holes around it and make epa happy when you have a FMIC mounted. heres the pics of the job i done on mine forgot to mention, doing this mod with the holes around the air box still allows you to have the "pod filter" noise when at boost, so every1 thinks your running a pod. let me know what you think guys daniel

hey guys, just to let u know, traffik was a success, we had a full house by 2am, but the crowd really didnt start to flow til 12:30. we are on again next week, hoping to see ppl back there b4 12:30, as it was cheaper to get in, but the crowd that turned out was a good looking 1. there was some awesome girls there in mini's (droolable) and the music we played rocked the house. for those of you that turned up hope you had a mad night, and we'll see you all again next friday cheers daniel

am after a 3" cat back exhaust for the r33 s1 skyline. im located in melb so am after a local seller. i am also willing to swap if any1 has one they want to swap with my 3.5" Kakimoto stainless steel exhaust. Its 2 piece cat back system with a mid muffler and 4.5" tip at the end. It has a cannon style muffler on it. pics can be arranged. but yeh ideally after a swap, but if not i will buy and sell my old zorst.

im trying to source something quieter for my r33 s1 in a 3inch system, cat back. if i find 1, i got for sale then my 3.5" Kakimoto system. gonna be looking for $350 for it. its 3.5" stainless with 4.5" muffler. ill keep u in mind for the time being while i look 2

hey man i definitly in. just a thought tho, might be worth seeing if we can organise 1 b4 the end of march say the 24th/31st, this way we got a better chance of good weather. dont think you'll get a big turnout if its raining? see how many pplz can make each of these dates. guys post up your preferred date for the cruise: a) 24 mar b) 31 mar c) 28 apr if we can org 1 earlier i def got pplz who are in for that.
