Spotted this 1 a lil while ago, went for a run on the beach and returned to this and a cop putting on some rubber gloves. Instinct first told me to prep my self for a severe examination. Luckily he was just there to go across the road

ok pop quiz, who can tell me what this hose is called or what it does exactly. starts on left side of motor here, did lil angle. top of the pic you can see where it starts to say rb26 if you not sure where it is the hose im talking bout comes off near the large top radiator hose and heads to the right side of the motor in which its hard to see exactly what its doing under nearth my turbo piping here. its the lower of the 2 skinny hoses here just started leaking coolent on me, fortunately i only drove for about 2k when it happened and its a tiny pin hole so coolent was still full.

is there kits you can buy to replace all the hose's on a rb26. i thought i seen em somewhere but i can only see heater hose kits around. i had a tiny leak in the radiator bypass hose but was thinking i might just replace them all for piece of mind. apparently that 1 bit of hose costs $70.

Also there are other factors that make a car go fast such as grip and torque and most important shiny paint. different people add diffferent things into there costs though, ive thrown in all servicing and tyre purchases insurance etc so that would blow my number up higher than some. still far cry from some of those figures though.
