nice cruize flick, quite a nice turnout. didnt know any of em but still had fun cruizing around anyways. here's my brief summary of the event. recollection may have varied due to my crappy camera not taking good pics at night stop lights seemed to burn a little brighter than usual, but Tommy Mack and the skyline club wernt fazed we then proceeded to do super sonic speeds as you can tell by these speed streaks, look at em go naturally this kind of pressure on a car can make it boiling hot so we took a break and finally after the cars cooled down i got what was the most closest to a normal photo. to whoever had the profess camera "sharing is caring"

Hey just thought id add a few pics n such to your step by step, feel free to edit as you like. 1. Take old handbrake boot out. You just gota wiggle it a little and it will pop out at the front n back 2. Push leather inwards (so you can see the bottom metal frame) and put the old handbrake boot on top of the new boot on top. 3. You should now have the metal from the old boot and new boot sitting on top of each, Make sure it is lined up evenly. 4. Push the metal on the new boot at the same bend in the old boot so they are both bent at the same place. 5. Keep adding pressure to the metal on the new boot so after the bend it is touching the metal of the old boot. i didnt get it much closer than this but it still went in fine n dandy 6. Put them side to side to make sure they are bent in same place on the same angel etc, and fine tune as needed. 7. if you were stupid enough to put the gear boot over the handbrake boot and wonder how the f your going to bend em to match smak yourself in the head like i did, see idiots example below also i dont know why there is attachments at the bottom of this message but they not ment to be there and added trader reference for you. havnt done the gear boot yet, dose the lil surround plastic just pop out with a screwdriver? im assuming thats what you do but i thought i better ask before i brake the damn thing.

leave approx $50 on the dash next to a box of donuts and hope you dont get mr drift king inspector like i did. its a GTR stop calling it a f#%kin drift car you might be better just leaving the coil overs in the first go and when they ask you whats been modified just tell em about the suspension n pod filters and hope they dont know the turbo's been changed. hopefully they'll go easier on you with the rest of sh*t if they got you revisting with the coilovers next time anyway. o yea expect them to find some oil stains you never seen before in the engine bay. and be sure to thank them for the early xmas present

you'll definately have to change the suspension, they wont let the coils slide. i got in trouble for my pod filters but i just had to get them put in securely with a bracket thing to hold em tight. dont know about emissions stuff but if you got a crazy loud exhaust that will need to get changed.

i didnt see any flaws in that paint job, even if there were they could hit it like they do with the models. bit of airbrushing here and there and she's good as new something like my datos rusty paint job may take a lil more work though

95% sure they do ive had 32 gts seats in my 32 gtr so the GTR part isnt an issue. i reckon ive read in the for sale section they all are interchangable r32-r34

2 viable options but on the 1 hand "you cant make friends with salad" "you cant make friends with salad" and they could be drift spec stereo installs? on the other hand a name like sinistagts sounds like he could be part of the japanese mafia i think im getting the headlight switch prob i was reading in the maintenance section (half the time i only have 1 headlight even after changing the globe) so maybe i can con him into fixing that for me as well im a north subs boy but im fine with having an excuse to take the GTR for a spin, i still havnt picked up the stereo yet and its ment to be xmas pressie so im trying to work it closer to the day without it being a pain in the ass. what's the going rate these days just sneaking this in at work though so hopefully thats good english

i dont suppose any 1 on here can do a lil stereo install for me? any of you guys done 1 before? just want a new head unit put in, i dont have any subs or amps or anything like that. would prefer to know that some apprentence has not taken my car for a spin while at a shop and its been done the right way not some half assed dodgy wiring job there can be a bevarage exchange or some $$ might help with your xmas shopping

if you need numbers i can come it hasnt got much done to it just twin HKS pods, full 5zigen exhaust and uped rev limiter to 8k as far as power go's it made 194kw at tillbrooks dyno which was enough to win the psi dyno day surprisingly, but thats another story can bring trophy to add respect points althought will prob lose those points if i hit the dyno there the guy i bought it off said he got 225rwkw before but id say it was prob a dodgy dyno. have a look at the midnight blue 1 from small car sunday. its fairly stock looking except the front bar hole's.

just thought id ask a random meaningless question here. how come SA never posts in the events section? all the skyline cruizes seem to go in the regular section which is fine n dandy but why have the extra section at all only outsiders seem to post in there. i come on this page before i got my skyline like 2-3 years ago went straight to the events section and seen the last event was like 6months prior to that date and I thought the club wasnt running anymore.

sorry if this is a repost, but ive never seen a convertable 31 before or any convertable skyline for that matter.

stuff em man, people bitch no matter what you have or have not done to your car. i didnt get much respect for mine, im thinking half because it was pretty stock and half because alot of people didnt notice it was a GTR. but i aint gonna go out and dump money on stuff i dont want on my car just to please some strangers the negative camber on that thing says it all, next time put ur front wheels straight though makes it easier to see the lean on em

yeah i think my camera was set to supa shiny cause every thing has crazy shine on it. also i took 90% of them as soon as we were all parked so there would be less dust on them. anyways onto the pics think someone has some issues that need to be addressed, aside from not having headlights this is what small car sunday is all about, the cute lil thang i actually thought this was a done up MR2 on fridays cruize. after looking it up on you tube i see calling it an mr2 probably would have insulted the man. think this was my fav car there some cars looked better with the bonnet shut. its not that bad just needs an rb26 sorry girls had to add 1 for the guys also these pics have been cut down in size for the 56k people out there, so if you want a higher quality 1 let me know look out. think i just started a howie missR34 battle.
