Among a few other surprises in my new r32 (coilovers etc) I discovered that what I thought was a turbo timer, in fact connects to a box in the drivers footwell and also connects to a component in the engine bay. It says on the box EBS III and also Knight Sports. I assume the engine bay part of it is a boost controller, but don't know about the box/computer part. Did some web searches and apparently it has something to do with controlling boost through the stock ECU. It also appears that they are intended for use in RX7s. Anyone have one or know anything about it?

Hey all, Drove home from the compliance centre today and eager to look under the bonnet, I tried to pull the leaver to pop the hood but no dice! Its stuck pretty tightly in position, with a tiny bit of play - but only what would be normal for any interior fitting. So it wont pull back to pop the hood and I can't see why, I have no idea whats wrong. Please help! I got the car today and am desperate to see what surprises await under the hood!

I didn't know that, I must be thinking of third party insurance as you mentioned. That's the basic one that covers fire and theft and costs around $500 per year right?

Hey all, just got myself a '92 R32 and have decided not to go with full comp insurance as I'm on my Ps and cant afford the ridiculous fee. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend an insurer for my CTP, as I've heard a few import owners speaking of a number of insurers I hadn't previously come across. So if anyone knows a cheap one, please let me know. Oh and I'm in melbourne. Shit I just noticed the insurance thread, i'll have a read but if there are any recommendations let me know. Cheers
