R32 GTR with 26/30 Run in tune gave 280rwkw limited to 5500rpm @ 1.1 bar. Will re-post once everything has bedded in and the boost is cranked. Tried to fit the front roll-centre spacers when I was swapping over to 356mm G4 brakes. The two bolts fastening the hub to the lower arm seem to be pressed in, as I could not get them out even with a drift and big hammer on the loosened nut. Has anyone had success in getting these out? Andrew

Is this 86mm or for an overbore such as 87mm?

Does the head come with caps?

I got some RB26 Splitfires + Bridging kit from Japan secondhand in almost new condition. The install went perfectly until I tried to plug the new coilpacks into the loom. I noticed that although the male and female plugs were almost identical, the plastic positioning spades on the sides of the splitfire coilpacks were slightly lower (1.5mm) in comparison to the BNR32 loom. I shaved off these positioning spades and the plugs fitted snugly otherwise, the lock engaging positively. Unfortunately there is no hint of a spark when I turn the car over whereas the original coilpacks still work fine. The coilpacks are definitely not series 2 or anything silly like that as externally they are almost identical to those I pulled out. Could it be that they are R34 GT-R coilpacks and there are differences to the R32 GT-R and will not work? Andrew

I have got front roll centre adjuster spacers coming from Japan soon as well. I got the ones from ESP-SPORTS NET SHOP (espoirsp2002) on yahoo.jp for ¥13,800 a set. They have rear units as well but it is a ball joint replacement, so like many of you I am going to try the rear Moonface spacer first. Andrew

Thanks for all advice so far. The cams are standard Poncam 'B's so lift is 8.5mm@ 256 duration. Did not see the snapped cam so not sure where it broke.

After it snapped the first time, they ordered the replacement, fitting it. Found it was still binding. Played around trying to get it to work and then gave me the call. Pull the head and line bore the exhuast cam ($1500) or put the standard ones back in ($800).

They actually said they tried different caps with the same result, but I cannot be sure they got them in the right order in both cases. They did go at the caps with wet and dry which suggests they were onto the issue though. No one has had a case where it was impossible to get the caps/cams to work together with a little TLC? If so who in Sydney do you think I could take it to troubleshoot the install? I was thinking CRD this time around but am already down $800 on the first failed attempt to put these in... Andrew
