  1. Hope someone can sort through their shed for Left and Right side engine mounts complete. ie, bracket that bolts to the motor and the rubber mounts. Desperately need these as the last lot seem to have gone walk about and I need to put motor in to the car Tuesday 10th. Please message me or phone directly on 0412 740 740 as soon as you can. Thanks
  2. Thought I should add my 10 cents worth> Circuit Barbagallo: Lap time Short Circuit: 54.58 Lap time Long Circuit: 63.88 (Both times from Natsoft) Last dyno around 420HP at wheels Car: DR30 RB25 single turbo large intercooler not sure of the rest but was using standard plenum modified to bring throttle body to front. Have to speak with "NIB" to find out.the rest..new motor currently being built including dry sump. Brakes are 4 spot all round with Penske shock at the rear fully coil over etc etc Tyres: Toyo control tyres Hopefully a long circuit 62 in about three weeks
  3. Thanks Sydney Kid, I appreciate the feedback and links etc. I think you are right, looking through the hole with what is left of the Eagle rod there are definitely no bolts left in place...still need to go the dry sump way as I am building a Silvia spaceframe sports sedan with mid mount RB motor and have no room for a normal wet sump. Cheers again
  4. Hope I am not hijacking this thread but did put a question up in the motorsport section. My RB25 is for circuit racing only. Just turned it into a 5 cylinder with number one creating a new hole in the block. I need to go the dry sump way but cannot find any information on pan set up or specs. Can any body shed any light on the subject. The wet sump ran wings, baffles, trap doors whilst the top end has enlarged breather holes going to two catch cans and a large bore line back to the sump including a holly red pump to drain oil back into the sump from the catch can. Thanks
  5. I have just finished turning my RB25 Circuit racing engine into a 5 cylinder with a large hole where number one rod would normally go. Havent pulled the motor out yet but think one likely cause is probably oil surge. Currently using a very large wet sump with wings baffles etc etc but have never been able to fill it to a great level because of crank case pressure etc etc. I have a Sports Sedan project currently being built so will have to run a dry sump on this car so may as well start the process on the other racing car. Question: Is anybody aware of a local (WA) or interstate company that has designed a dry sump pan set up that is known to be reliable and effective or does anybody have specifications / drawings of a pan that I can take to a fabricator to have built. Thanks
