That screams 'scam' to me. It's not that disimilar to some of the scams i've seen on ebay over the years, and this seems to be a slight derivation on them. Nonetheless its always interesting to discuss the said vehicle with the scammer and to see the way they deal with you. Is interesting.
The pictures of the car appear to have been taken off a particular dealerships website up here in Brisbane, called motorman imports. If for instance ones looks at the attached advert (its just one of their current ones) - http://www.autoline.com.au/vehicle/1442032.html - you will notice the background is identical ie fence posts sizes and colours, same trees showing above the fenceline, even has the same electricity tower in the background. So whilst I couldn't find this particular car as one of their current stock, I'd say that it has been one of their previous ones and this scammer is using them to pull of his scam.
