ive made the decision to swap over to the dark side of rear wheel drive, in an effort to get into some drifting.
so unfortunately ive gotta get rid of my beloved DET EXA.
It has a CA18DET transplant completed by motive performance here in brissy, custom painted cam cover - candy apple red with glitter, T25G turbo, 2.5" pollished stainless intercooler pipes, 2.5" turbo back exhaust, GTR CAT converter, large front mount intercooler, turbosmart t piece, V8 soarer fue pump, CA18DE cam gear - aimed at achieving better valve lift, new valve springs, gearbox feels brand new - its a heavy duty VLSD (someone reakons its jap-spec or something??), Brass button clutch,
accessories include silver window tint, central locking, 180SX steering wheel, black leather gear stick boot, all required wires to hook your sound systems up to, sony mp3 HU, 17" chrome BSA rims, genie muffler, car is lowered on king superlows
the car is tuned running at 12 psi, making around the 180HP mark, at the front wheels
it has no troubles running against the newer WRX's or other similar cars of similar power to weight ratio
i did race the car once... i ran a 15.018 @ 104mph.... i did not launch, and this is evident in the ET. But i was VERY impressed to get 104mph!!!! thats a GREAT top end for an "innocent little exa" hahaha
there is lots more to this car...it truly is a little pocket rocket!!! i would love to keep it, but parentals dont like the idea of me having 3 cars parked at the house, 2 is already bad enough haha
im only asking for 6G, as i do want to get rid of it soon.
HOWEVER....i wouldnt mind swapping it for something along the lines of a S13, so i can build my project.
