alrighty i showed this thread to a friend of mine last night. he works at sabaddin automotive and before that at the original rank rotary he has many years experience working with serious hi performance car and has built many 500+ hp cars. he said ur a dreamer (amongst other things) and said ur pretty much getting ripped off. u would need to more than double ur budget to get to anywhere near ur goals. and ur using the wrong motor for it. and to the op ur a dumb flamin mongrel seriously

ur budget will also contribute alot to the project as well the engines that u have stated veray greatly in price 1uz $1700 rb20 $1000 rb25 $2000 1jz $2000 2jz $4000 the toyota prices are fairly accurate as i was recently looking for a conversion for ly ls400 and these are the prices i got. ill be honest with u, u wont be able to do much for less than around 10 grand. half of the motors need some serious custom shit to make them fit in + the wiring will be a nightmare and add huge costs to it also. if i were u i would put an s15 motor and s14 gearbox and it would hammer hard as but if u have the funds then definatelty go the 1uz. that would be sick a v8 silvia lol

or for the ridiculous budget that u have set out u can get urself an os giken 3 litre and have it put in there now that would be f**king awesome

when i go top the gym i take 2 hydroxycut hardcore 2 -3 zues tablets (tribulus) and i wash it down with a redbull just remember to drink heaps of water and step up gradually because it hurts when u abuse it lol i nearly fainted in a restaurant after gym coz i had very little water and food.

ill be doing mine also soon. my mate is a auto elec so he will do it for me, i just never get days off the same as him lol.

what sort of rails would u need to run gtr seat in a gtt or could u just modify them. in my s14 i put s15 seats in them and had to bend one of the rails to fit them in could u do something similar with the gtr seats as i dont really like the bride or sparco seats (im a big unit)

if i were in ur situation what i would do would be start organising all of the parts now that u want. u hve 2 options really u can buy and rb25 de and all the associated parts to make it an na+t this way u spread the spending out over a longer period of time instead of shelling out for all the stuff u need at the same time. or u can get an rb25det and when u get off ur p's just put it in. it really shouldnt take more than a day. and i think the loom are compatible (not sure 100% though) i think option 2 will be far cheaper and easier and will net u more power with far less headaches. then sell of the original motor.

my last oil change i used martini racing oil. it seems quite nice to me.

if i were u i would sell the boost controller. get a cooler (i have a saber one and have no problems with it but there are hundreds out there to choose from) then buy an ecu with a built in boost controller like a wolf or something then u dont have stuff u dont really need, less stuff in ur cabin for cops to have a look at as well. imo subtle mods that are easy to hide are much better. do it once and do it properly. and as said above handling is important as well.

lol as do i, but if i run it really dry my engine light comes on and stays on till about 15 minutes after i have filled up lol.

because u have never driven a skyline i would probably recomend to get a car with tc. and if u buy a car with hicas lock it straight away as well.

my car is insured with just cars for nearly 30,000. i pay 1700 a year rating 4 and im 24. but my excess is 4700 if i f**k my car up (fingers crossed i dont lol)

my best mate works at sabaddin auto in melbourne he reckons for a stockish turbo and medium boost then no bov is ok. but with an aftermarket turbo and higher boost he always recomends one.

blitz (or blits) make one that is adr approved and they come with certificates there expensive as but

my excess is 4700 breakdown is like this $500 for normal excess $600 more for age $1100 more for ofsetting the price of my premium $1000 more for having 2 suspension in the last 3 years $1500 more because my car is an import expect yours to be much more.
