Still running the ssqv's, really don't want to take the time to change back to stock and not re-circ and possibly get problems. Has anyone got pics of how the re-circ pipes goes through the front. Is there any way to run the original pipe through the front somewhere. Are there really no other options What other people that have FMIC do with there re-circ pipe? Do they do whats stated above by Saliya? HELP. I've got a funny feeling i'm loosing power every gear shift when i'm not going crazy with the car.

Hey, Thanks for that. First option of a new recirculation system is a no can do (i'm too lazy). The atmosphere bov thing you mention is a possibility. The other side (opposite to bov's) has been sealed/not in use. What do you mean by "leaks at idle"? How bad is it? What does it effect? Other than the idle problem, are there any other problems? What material have other people used to cover the outlets? Thanks for the great information. Was desperate today and put the bar back on so i can drive it tomorrow, but its easy to take off and put back on, just this time i need to know what i'm doing. Thanks in advance

oh I see. I was thinkin Honda only made fwd. As in something they only do with success.

is it hondas signature for all fwd cars? Also, does vtec kick in at 5000rpm+ I thought vtec/na was suppose to eliminate any lag. With this a turbo would be added and then include vtec would make a lot less turbo lag. No idea.

Umm, yeah, i've got an idea of how the original piping was set up. Will i need to reconnect the original piping? I removed all original piping in that location for the FMIC. The original BOV piping is still there as the HKS ssqv just had adapters and they just bolted on. No way around it with using stock BOV's? Anyone got a photo of there front bumper removed - R32/33 GTR. Might sell the twin ssqv, but first i need to get the original back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I like hondas I like skylines But how do you compare one with a turbo and without? People say that a nissan without a turbo is nothing. If we remvoe the turbo out of a GTS-T, or put it against a GTS/GT(34), how will a vtec go? Not fair. Love nissan and honda.

I'm probably going to get chopped and bagged for this. I've been driving now for about 1.5 years, thats on L's then P's. This is driving 90% of the time, once i got my L's i was put in the drivers seat and pretty much never left it. I wasn't just driving locally, i drove everywhere, in all traffic conditions and personally, it was great to experience what was out there. As a L plater, i started off in a Delica Turbo Diesel van thing then after a week it was a V8 4.0L Soarer for a few months mixed in with the GTR. My dad took me in to an industrial estate on a sunday arvo and put me in the seat, then after that it was just a few days a week driving around in that. Great experience driving different cars. Now that i'm on my Red P's, the family doesn't have any cars that i am able to drive legally, so i applied for an exemption for the skyline and i got it. Most of you probably think i'm just a "rich-kid" that was given whatever he wanted. But i don't care what you really think. I'm not saying i have had alot of experience, compared to 90% of the people on this forum, i have no experience. I believe, the way my parents raised me and the environment i've been in for mylife that i am able to resist the temptations of racing and stupid behaviours on the roads we see today. In a few weeks i'll be doing a driving/defensive course at Mt Cotton that will hopefully give me further insight on different possible scenarios that may occur on the roads and how i may deal with them. So a little bit more experience. But then again, i believe the laws should be there, but any car can be driven in a stupid manner. A few of the d**kh**ds at my school drift in the wet, find dirt and drift in that, speed and all the other "bad" things in the old hilux utes, 4wds, pulsars, astras.... etc So there are many other ways p platers can die other than high performing cars. Now, don't shoot me.

Hey, I've been meaning to do this for along time. Now front bumper is off and i'm at the BOV stage. Switching back to the standard bov's. I noticed on the standard bov' there was the hoses/outlets that came out from it into the black pipe that ran across the front to the other side. I don't have that pipe anymore due to the FMIC. What do i need to do to replace the hks bov's with the original ones? hoping to get it finished today So any help asap would be great. Thanks if there are existing threads, please pardon me and direct me, i am so noob at the search function that it comes back half the time without results :S
