  4. can i ask how much the front bar put you back.
  5. let me know how the lower lip will fit. Been looking for the lower lip to finish my one off but i'm not sure how it'll fit, if it will hit onto other things under there. Thats been holding me back, and the cost to get a genuine one.
  6. Noones experienced something similar? I'll get the camera out this weekend and film it.
  7. I'm using aftermarket O-rings that actually go into the rail but the much thicker insulator below that goes into the engine is genuine (i think, unless changed earlier), i didn't change them, they were fine. Hmms. Could it possibly be a bad fuel pressure? Should i connect the fuel pressure gauge and see?
  8. Ah Geez. I think there is a ghost in the car and it doesn't want me to drive it. After i changed the o ring on the injector that was leaking petrol. I put it all back togethere and then let it run for about 10mins. reversed out of driveway, noticed a bit of liquid on the driveway. Checked, another injector was leaking. This morning, got the rail out changed all o-rings, reconnected everything, turned the key for the petrol pump then checked to see if the injectors were OK. All good, but the stupid speedflow/earl fittings from the fpr was leaking. Tried to fix that, for some reason it was shreaded like no other. thats why it was leaking, ah well, ran back got another set, connected that. NOW!. At idle the engine isn't stable and to me the engine sounds a bit funny along the fuel rail side. The rpms are over 1k but every few seconds move to like 1.1 or 1.2 it just keeps doing that its like up and down up and down. Above 2-3k rpm its smooth and just like normal. but sometimes when i let go of the pedal, at about 1.8k - 2.0k it just just hangs there :S and slowly i mean real slow, comes down. Any ideas guys? Thanks for the help so far. Could it be the injectors? clogged fuel rail o.O ? Do the speedlow fittings have a direction of flow? Like are some ment to go out only and some ment to go in only? (fuel flows into rail, fuel flows out of rail) Could i have done something accidentally while pulling and out the injectors? take it all apart and put together carefully again? Ghost Car i swear, it doesn't like me anymore I'll film what the problem is when i get the chance.

  10. As in worth or you bought them for cheap as. I'll buy if you need to split to reduce price of sale.
  11. love the rims. What did they set you back?
  12. i'd get the centre console, passenger and driver side switch panel, and thats about it.
  13. DONE! If only i removed the plugs the proper way instead of removing the coils and leaving the rail and harness intact. IT WAS THE STUPID EARTH CABLE! 1 of the 2 was cut. After getting new o rings, put the rail and everything back together. tried to start, nothing. Went through the steps for the sparks, no spark, i thought it must have been the harness, took the coil harness of, in the process when moving the earth cable, i noticed only one was still intact. Ran to the back, ripped out another harness, plugged it in. key in, turn, start within 1 second. Sigh and many CHEERS!!!! Thanks alot to all the input. I guess it was the car telling me to give it a service, new plugs and o rings. Thanks again. Tomorrow. and for the next few weeks, i'll be driving it
  14. Capalaba. Geez, no o-rings anywhere. Ok, whats the part number from nissan? Would they give out the size if i call them? I do know where to get o -rings but need size.
  15. Let me know. Cost, location. I'm in Brisbane, QLD.
  16. 51PRY tonight at sunnybank
  17. Link to thread if possible. Bearing and Seal. Gota find one of those.. $100 bucks. o.O for O-rings? Will take the rail and injectors around. Would be easier for a size.
  18. Anyidea of the size of the orings or a place to buy them? Well, the type of places that sell them. Try to find a place around here that is similar. Didn't notice how ancient this was, but its better than me opening up another thread... i think..
  19. Perfect. Yeah, thanks for the help Will let you know if i need help. But your description sounds easy enough. Anyone know the size of the o ring on the injector? I don't want to match it up, i want exact size when i go to a supplier. Where do you get them from? Nut and bolt store? i've gotten them once but can't remember where it was. Cheers.
  20. Haha yeah, i knew it was from the gearstick, but first time i saw it place anywhere besides the gearknob. Cheers Buddy
  21. Looks good with that colour Very nice Didn't read many of the other comments, but i see your a little sticker on your ash tray cover with the gear numbering on it. Does someone else drive your car? Or do you forget
  22. ""Pull a plug out (check plug condition while your there) and connect it into the coil while also earth it on the head next to the spark plug hole. Easiest way to do this is to get a HT lead and connect one end to the coil where the spark plug normally goes and the other end to the top of the spark plug."" - From Deren Ok. This is what i read: 1. Pull the first spark plug out. 2. Take the coil off and plug it onto the spark plug with the cables all still connected to the coil. 3. (not so clear about this part) - Hold the spark plug while its touching the head (anywhere?). 4. Get someone to try to start the car and watch for a spark Is this right? The fuel i am sure is in the rail as i could see it bubbling trying to exit through the injector seal. Someone said on the forums, that i only need to check the first? If the first is sparking, the rest will aswell.
  23. Yeah, i don't think theres anything wrong with the timing belt. Everything sounds to be smooth. Just doesn't fire. Yeah, i should have checked the spark while i was at it but am not 100% sure on how to do it. So was hoping that the spark plugs were dead. The last time it was running, it was reveresed down a hill and driven back up, a few times like this to clean the rotors and just give it a bit of flow through the engine. Next step to check for the spark. Are there step directions in the forums? Thanks for helping everyone. Esp, Daren.
