Quick, as I only have two. Note: I don't where you can get them and for how much, get them there then.
  4. As some of you have stated, driving isn't something you learn over night. Some people are better and learn quicker, still doesn't mean you're more experienced. You gain experience by driving in different conditions, being in different scenarios etc. I haven't done a driving course, so can't comment on what they teach and how it helps everyday driving. In saying this though, some people I believe can drive for 3 years on their P's and not leave their own suburb and may not encounter different road conditions/driving scenarios. e.g. One of my friend, didn't drive on a highway until she/he (can't remember) was about 6months into their Red Ps. What good is that? What I do reckon would be a good idea is some way for RTA or something to check the standard of cars that P platers drive, to ensure they're safe and roadworthy. Having the power restrictions i've heard have restricted alot of cars that are great safe cars and aren't actually "powerful" but just may have a turbo or something. I've lost my train of thought, haha. So its a bit messy.
  5. Have you got pics of how the car is? New rims or old rims ? Interested to see how it looks and what rims you're getting/have.
  6. Good luck with the sale mate. But in regards to this "new law", where did you see this for QLD? They are only just talking about it for VIC, so introducing it in QLD would be far. If you've got details, i'd be very interested to know what the changes are going to be, I did a google and checked QT, no comment on it as they do when they introduce changes: e.g: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Licen..._in_queensland/
  7. Thanks for that. Are you referring to the front new MDF mounts or rear? As I don't want to run amps all over the car etc and not wanting much extra weight. Fronts 6.5 or 6" do you reckon? Rears, do you think its worth it makng a new parcel shelf for 6x9s? If not, will 6.5s fit, or are factory ones 6"? Anyone know what the mounting depth/ depth of the speaker is that will allow it to fit? Battery terminal is right under it.
  8. What speakers on the rear fellas? How hard is it to run 6.5 in front or would 6s be the go?
  9. Serious note though. I'm not bragging that I got the exemption. I have my reasons why I got the exemption. Legit, no sh*t. I don't drive to attract unwanted attention, 2 years no police problems, then a few months ago, whilst parked, got defected. Out of my control as a p plater.
  10. Are you implying something ?
  11. Anyone catch that? Only 10% of applicants have been rejected. Once again, a stupid segment. Always showing one side of the story. They should check, of those that received exemptions. How many are still alive? Compared to a similar sample from the rest of the population. Also should check traffic offence history etc, just to compare and see if there is any difference.
  12. I sent the person from Channel Nine an e-mail to see if I could help with any exemption questions. There will be a segment on TV tonight at 6pm "Hi, Sure, the story is about P plate drivers who have exemptions to drive high powered vehicles. You can catch it on Nine News tonight at 6pm Tessa" I wonder what it is.
  13. if you're serious, send me a pm or email, [email protected]. Please outline what it is for and what you intend to do with any information. I'm in Brisbane and have held an exemption since my red Ps. I skimmed through some of the posts. Yes to being one specific car and not a model etc. My reason was not for work either. Whoever wants info, just send me a message or reply here. Don't mind helping people if I can.
  14. Nissan Brown Leather Folder - Black borders Nissan Owners Manual - Japanese Nissan Service/Log book (Green) Road service phone number list. Nissan Safety Cartoon Booklet (Real interesting actually, if only I could read it - how to put a baby sit in correctly, seat belt, driver positioning from steering wheel etc, ABS/SRS) 2 "Master" keys with remote Tools etc Middle passenger seat belt
  15. This is my log book. I don't think you'd be able to record your own stuff in it anyways. There is just so much japanese inside, I wouldn't know where to start to write things down. (P.S. This is for a different car to EZY34) Terry, can you confirm:
  16. You send them to me These are nice wheels, what were they originally off/made for?
  17. White R34 GTR Vspec - GO NUTS on Friday.
  18. Uwiish. If you don't mind, post some pictures of how the wheels fit on/within/at the guards (both front and rear). I'd like to help on the offset, I understand it enough for myself, but explaining it is another challenge. But if uwiish is running +17, +12 will stick out 5mm more, so however it sits on his car, add about 5mm to it. 33/34 though, not sure how different the offsets are, if any. In my opinion though, i'd go with +12.
  19. Can't help, but just want to be subscribed to this thread. I'm looking at the same size but in 18s. Would it be the size or the width of the rim that causes any possible rubbing or both? Thanks
  20. People have said possibly heater pipes behind the block has given way. When the water temp creeped up, i pulled over and heard water going everywhere and then popped bonnet. Steam was coming from the back of the block and the water pump. So there is a leak at the water pump and the pipes are probably busted. Hoping its nothing else.
  21. Everything put on hold. Cars going into the shop, coolant system failed at stone corners, towed home
  22. Oh ok. Eventually our paths will cross haha. I need one badly HKS FCon though, so thinking either PFC and save money in tuning over time or tune the FCON.
