V35 Skyline coupe wheels - reconditioned! Hello up for sale is a set of reconditioned V35 Skyline Coupe wheels (Brembo brake spec'ed). I bought these from a friend and had them reconditioned by Depulu Wheels in Ashmore (have invoice). They had a colour change from Shadow Chrome to Toyota Tungsten (1G1 Tungsten Pearl), they were destined to go onto our V35 Skyline Sedan which was sold earlier this year so are no longer required. These are still packed in the cardboard boxes they were sent to me in and also included is the spare (space saver). No tyres are included with these, apart from the one on the space saver. Specs- size: 18 x 8 PCD: 114.3 Offset: +30mm $900 Pick up only please (Bray Park 4500).

2003 V35 Skyline Sedan Black Manual! $13000
omp posted a topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Hello all. Unfortunately it is time to sell the Skyline as we are getting something with a bit more room (Outlander). We need to sell this fairly quickly and is priced to sell. *2003 V35 Skyline 350GT. (Quad cam 3.5litre V6 Same as 350Z) *6 spd manual (fairly rare in sedan) *black/black *87000km *Rego until March *Since we have had the car (approx 3yrs) it has been serviced every 5000km's by Carmen imports at Brendale. *The drive line is essentially 350Z, ie a lot of the parts are interchangeable so consumable parts such as brake pads, clutch, oil filter, air filter, suspension components etc are easy peasy to get *Has a decent size boot *Bloody fantastic to drive especially on long trips. *Mostly standard apart from 1/Aftermarket stereo Clarion, CD, USB, bluetooth etc 2/Grounding kit 3/I have installed a 350Z induction pipe (between air filter and throttle body), I still have the original pipe 4/Aftermarket Alarm 5/Window tinting (darkest legal) *Has things like auto lights on, folding in mirrors *Genuine reason for selling, require a bigger vehicle for the family (going to SUV....). It is with a HEAVY heart we are selling. The Wife is especially upset as she originally found this and drives this most of the time. This car is owned OUTRIGHT by us so no finance etc is owed. Hey guys Been a long time since I posted here, but I have to be sad somewhere lol! Our V35 sedan (black manual) had a deposit put on it saturday. It had to be sold quickly due to us putting a deposit down on a new car (Mitsubishi Outlander......) so we priced it to sell quickly unfortunately. We had until the end of the month to get things sorted. It was with a heavy heart that we sold this, but it was determined "best for the family" to sell. Now we can just chuck shit in the new car (including the boy) and not be so concerned with bumping the V35 around (personally I don't give a flying f**k if the Outlander gets scratched, I near had kittens when I saw a new shopping "war wound" on the V35). My wife is going to miss it as well as she drove it 80% of the time and she actually found the car when we purchased it near on 3years ago. Going to miss it and so annoyed I never got to do what I wanted to do- re-coed V35 coupe wheels (had but never fitted) Brembo's exhaust 2005 350z suspension. Such a nice car to drive especially on long trips.... Sorry guys had to sort of vent somewhere.

1/Refused to give a quote to my wife (as I had the "fun" week of 11-14hr days at work, engineering blows), she mentioned that I had been insured before with them. Even refused to put under her name. It is not "my" or "her" car it is "our" car who gives a funk who's name it is under... 2/Asked me what I wanted to insure it for, I said $18k, which in all fairness would put me in another manual V35 sedan (ie not auto) at this time if poo hit the fan. He then said "$15k for $1000p/yr". So why bloody well ask then? Also I am 36 so insuring that car for that is taking the piss, answered NO to all the "have you.." questions. I also hate when I call up and since I am not so much in the car scene anymore (was in a number of car clubs in the late 90's early 00's with the 180sx I had) the attitude is almost like "why are you calling us, wannabe car enthuasist?", Just the elitist attitude they seem to have. I called up when we first had the car and got the same attitude, hence why I went elsewhere, thought they may have changed. This is the reason why I was a bit wary to call them in the first place. My brother inlaw has a particular car with them, an old Corona wagon (it is in good shape TBH) mid-late 70's. He bought that for $150 (told them so), he rang Shannon's and they turned around and insured it for $3500. Work that out.

Hey guys been a while since I posted here (having our first child takes up most of my time and well worth it!), Got my insurance bill this week for our 2003 V35 black/black manual sedan. Apparently the value dropped $11k from last year. Has anyone had this issue? I expected it to drop (as most cars do), but $11k? I am with NRMA at the moment, $890 for $15,600. Personally I think if it was auto, I would agree with the $15,600 part but being manual to replace would cost more, I was thinking maybe $18k? We could change to Just Cars for $21,000 at $980, but heard they can be difficult to work with. Reading through here maybe AI could be worth a call. I rang Shannon's as I was insured with them years ago, that's 10minutes of my life I won't get back.......

Mechanic in Brisbane? Carmen at Brendale, that's where I take my V35.

Why not keep it and see how you go with the car and baby? My wife and I will be keeping our sedan even with a bub on the way. Since it is a daily, it already has nicks/scratches so we aren't to worried about it.

Yes I was in the black manual sedan, felt very "high" with the standard ride height. Might have to grab some 350z suspension for it.
-
Sorry I didn't get to park with you guys, was a good day overall.

Will be heading out, but will be at meeting at the hyper-hole. I live halfway between Aspley and Dakabin (grew up a stones throw away from Lakeside), should be a good day. Yin Sun is not coming as his car is to dirty..... Hope no one looks to close at my family hack then.

Hey I might try and make this, I live about 15mins away from Lakeside. Will bring the family Hack (V35 sedan 6 spd). I will give Yin Sun a call to see if he is keen.

Be careful of touching it, then going into shop. They may knock it back. Also sorry, but where is the fuses? They should be as close to the battery as possible, if you have a short between the battery and "to the left side" of the engine bay, you will be in a world of hurt.
