Hey i just attempted to do this, 100% unable to reach it can just get my finger on it, guessing you dont have air bags? because it is blocked by the air bags and side vent, would have to pull the whole dash out to get to mine :S i have had this thing clicking for like 1 year now wanna smash it! any ideas?

Okay guys, i am a person that like my Music, this car has been tested by Boston and both Alpine, they still cant work out why my car started a fire both TIMES! yeah not once twice. Okay so i am only going to bother listing the bass side of it because thats where the problem is. First time around i ran 2 Alpine R's with 2 PG mono blocks 15.0:01 they are 1500wrms each. this lasted like 2 years so i was happy but then only 2 weeks ago the coils heated up that much that it set fire to my boot, i put the fire out without damaging my amps or my boot thank god because i was at a stop when it happened. Alpine said that a massive amount of Dc was sent to the coils of each R and they acted as a heater and melted. And the only way this could have happend if it touched metal or i earthed it out on somthing. Alpine would not warranty anything because they were not there at the time to be able to know if i was the one that caused this to happen. This setup is coverd by perspex and all wires are covered in a heat proof silicone so there was no false earth. I pulled apart my system as it needed to be redone after the fire, but first i tested both of these amp's in diffrent cars of my own and ran them for 2 weeks with earthquake sub's nothing melted or burnout. Cheer's Alpine so i told them to shove it went out and got myself some G2 12inch bostons, installed it into my R33 and what ya know next day they stopped working, i pulled them apart, the fuses in the back of the bostons melted to the back of the magnet, the metal was untouchable for about 3 hours, they were not turned up above 1/4 because i was letting them ware in be4 i gave them a belting i normally do this for 20 hours running time and slowly turn them up. So i rang boston, they told me its either my apm's or my car's alternator, i tested these amps in another car for 2 weeks nothing, as for my alternator i had it tested and ran a smooth 13 volt's so there was no issue there, they said it may be intermittent, so i set up a cam corder to my volt meter so i didnt have to sit there =D let my car run for a total of 8 hours then just fast forwared the video there was no change to warrent the alternator being the problem. ANY IDEAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????

Yeah they will not allow you to have anything that implys street racing, the few that made it out before the ban there is nothing they can do about it, and they fetch a nice Price, i have DRIFT-8 and the most i have been offerd is $10 000 but they will never be sold not while i am around anyway, gift from my father. Okay guys, the problem is my turbo works fine, the Arm highlighted in the following picture has worn away and created a ledge that is now grabing, This is allowing the waste gate to jam open and thus makeing my car run like a dog, whith the power of a Ford laser running on 1 cylinder i know powerful hey? So i rang around and i cant seem to find anyone that sells a service kit to fix the problem, i have been advised by Rajab to replace the whole turbo and computer, but this will cost $5 000, but i will gain alot of power but its not realy what i am after. I am also undergoing some other problems such as fuel, now i have not been in many skylines so if people have some feedback on what their fuel economy, i live ing wangaratta and the distance to melbourne is (247km) this just about uses a full tank on the open road not thrashing it, in 5th gear at 110km my rpm is 3.2. Anyone got some idea's i could buy a 2nd hand turbo but who knows how long it will last, if anyone has any ideas or feedback it would be grate thanks. Michael

One would think so hey? i made calls to alot of place's that deal with turbos and they dont sell service kits or anything to rebush them, was told i could but a destroyed turbo and try and swap the waste gates over, but i dont think it would work to be honest, somthing that gets as hot as a turbo that has bushes will prob's fall apart when i pull it apart. Does anyone know if its possible to do this or rebush it?

Just depends on how you drive, i never stall my car but when my mate drives it he stalls all the time, just make sure you change down gears insted of just putting it in neutral =D

Hey guys, the turbo itself is 100% perfect, was only rebuild 40,000km ago, well so i am told but who knows these days right? My car is a Stock R33 Gts-T Mspec S2, Running the stock t3 turbo with an internal wastegate, but the flap has now droped and is not sealing and also is hitting my dump pipe and getting jamed open. Is there a service kit i can buy to fix the waste gate i.e rebush it? Should i just drill out the wastegate and plug the hole and put an external wastegate in the twin dump pipe? Or should i go a whole new turbo? I just want the car fixed and running again, i dont want to spend a furtune but i also dont want a cheap fix. If anyone has any ideas please share them with me !!!!

Ohhh, gay just dont fully understand how the stock Bov would open if there is no vac line on it to make it pop open?

no Air leaks, like i said if i turn the stock BOV on and just disconect the Vac line to the Atmo BOV (thats hidden) everything works fine, so i realy dont know what the go is, maybe loss of pressure from the longer distance but i have seen alot of other cars with the BOV hidden and they seem to bost right

Hey i installed a BLITZ BOV and now i am only boosting to 5 PSI but if i use the stock BOV it works fine? i know the BOV is not fualty because i have used it before and on another car, could it be that i put it futher down the pipe then the stock bov? i welded the flange onto the pipe near the FMIC so that i would get done everytime the TASK FORCE lidted my bonet? or could it be that the vaccume pressure isnt strong enough to reach the distance or the lines i am using are crimping under pressure because they are not strong enough? Any help would be good
