  1. Says the guy who couldn't out run a BF XR6T that's got upped boost, an exhaust and tune... Nor probably a stock VE SS...
  2. Did you put your bench together out of spun bearings and munched ring landings?
  3. Exhaust gasket cement.
  4. If you were hitting R&R and it was going into spastic areas of the map, yes, you'll be quicker as the car will actually be running correct timing and fuelling on boost, meaning, it will make more power and save you fuel.
  5. Scrimp those two cruises together, as that's what, 2 tanks of fuel? Use one tank of fuel (Or a touch less) to get to Trackside with us, $45 for a non member dinner, and you cruise home. You get to come, and you've scrimped those two cruises together into one AWESOME night with Jim Richards. What would you rather, two cruises, or one cruise and dinner with Jim Richards?
  6. My 1988 car was still ripping skids even with 450 000KM on the clock. No noises, nothing, used to sit on the brake pretty good too in comps. Only issue it actually had was the 22 year old muffler had died. They're as unreliable as Jap cars funnily enough.
  7. Including materials. Including time to make everything custom (Including dump pipe). Lots of putting in Flanges, and an IMMACULATE job. $800.
  8. Even easier then relying on an application... Don't speed. Don't run red lights.
  9. If this car was at a repair centre, then they're liable for it if it was left in their care. Appears to have been in a recent accident. Sure you didn't annoy the people you possibly ran into? (assuming you hit someone)
  10. The anti squeel shims haven't been reinstalled on the new pads.
  11. I've decided I need a rolling tool Cabinet like Ben has posted. I want one that is like, desk height at max, as I like how I used my Air Compressor Box as a "bench" for tools while I stripped down one of my spare motors. I think that will be my next tool purchase (Or a torque wrench)
  12. So, like, I couldn't get the motor out, as my missus isn't strong enough, not matter how hard I yell... (I KID! ) So the motor is still in, but we started cleaning a bit more instead. This was the start (Well, it had had a bit of a clean... The white area... ) So I scrubbed a bit... And some more... Stupid spots that aren't smooth panel! They don't want to come clean! And I need to do this all over the front of the car... Both inner guards are full of oil and grease, mainly this one though from a track day issue... Some how even more stuff fell off the front though...
  13. Guys, if you're offering photos, please remember they will need to be a high res image so that we can print them off in good quality!
  14. Ha ha ha, when you rang me at like 1:30 I was like "She's not going to be well in the morning!" My mate ended up the same way as you guys did by the sounds of it... We packed it in around 3:30AM... He had to get up at 7AM to leave mine at 8AM to be at work at 10AM... I get a message at 9:58 stating "I feel like I'm going to spew" LOL
  15. OUCH! That's better effort then my destruction of the ring landings!
  16. I forgot to ask, how'd you pull up this morning? How was your blues and roots festival, and sorry for telling you midnight it closed when it shut at 2AM... It used to shut at Midnight!
  17. You commented that you avoid the pub and shiznit at TBH... You isn't cool enough to drink with The Sheldon.
  18. He's in a totally different country guys. Where people don't sue people.
  19. There are plenty of R34 GTt floating around the gong. Open your eyes up.
  20. To determine shift points, you actually need to put them on a dyno, and perform a torque run in each gear. It has often been found while it "feels" faster revvin it's nuts off, because the motor produces peak torque a 4000RMPf or example shifting early to drop back into this peak torque is often beneficial.
  21. I told you to launch it harder!
  22. Cheers Eric!
  23. Ha ha ha, yeah I had a few goes where I spun the first two times, then nailed it pretty well two times after that... I just wasn't sure, thought those times could have been someone elses... Thanks MEL!
