We have a couple of spots left remaining, and at $60 a piece, should prove for plenty of entertainment without the risk of needing loads of petrol, or busting an engine! Check it out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...ay-t333325.html

It's a legal engine drop in, no engineer should be required. The RB25 was available in the R32, hence as VSI06 states: Examples of minor (owner certified) modifications are: * Engine changes where the capacity increase is less than 15% above the maximum size engine available for the vehicle (providing no major structural modifications are necessary and where noise and/or exhaust emission ADRs apply, all standard equipment such as carburettors, exhaust systems, exhaust gas recirculating valves, oxygen sensors and catalytic convertors relating to noise and emission control are retained and operate correctly).

SAU DOES have a good public image, maybe not so with the media and joe public, but with our law enforcement officers. Ask many of the long standing members of their run ins with the police and how they've been treated when they have the SAU NSW stick on the car, and most of the time they're not hassled too badly is the story they tell.

After a track day, you want to turn around and just go again. So no, 20 minutes won't cut it!

Times Mark?

Plazmaman have them. Work awesome. Don't know the price though. Mine came already fitted...
-
No, you can get a floating "earth" IE, your earth can actually be at 7Volts when compared to the negative on the battery. The sensor runs on a 5 Volt different between its positive, and it's negative.

On a standard turbo...

Brad, is everything in the back of that suspension wise, all parallel? Or is it setup so that there will be dynamic toe and caster etc?
-
The strange thing is though, if you watch your AFRs as you hit "R&R" the car leans out... So not really richer... From what I've seen from the consult being connected, they just dump to 5 or 8 degrees worth of timing, fuelling stays the same and it reads "leaner" as the fuel hasn't all been burnt by the time it's going out the exhaust, and hence, reads lean.

You should work for Channel 9 News... There's been so far no mention of P-Plates...

Safe and proper means legal. If you get the emmisions certificate done, it states that your car already meets emmisions which means a big waste of time to send you there again to be tested. After I got my eng cert I never even got any more "random pullovers"

Hi All Am New Here Looking For Other Late Night Drifters An Cruze's
MBS206 replied to L8SHFT's topic in Introduce yourself
I put $20 on the fact that when you do this day, you will either: Be a pussy at it and not hang the tail much. OR f**k up that you constantly spin out, meaning you have lots to learn either way. Oh, and if you think you have nothing to learn, we'll let Rhys teach you how to use reverse... -
I had straight metal hard piping on mine. Never had any issues you guys keep going on about. First I've ever heard anyone mention it as well.

Injector Duty And Fuel Consumption
MBS206 replied to gwilkinson34's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
IDC will ALWAYS be comparable at a given RPM. What you really need though, is a read out of how long the injector is open for, per minute. The less it's open per minute, at any given speed, the lower your fuel consumption. But then you can only compare at the same speed. (This removes engine RPM from the mixture) Then if you want to remove time, you need to replace time with distance, and suddenly, you have a working Fuel Economy gauge. -
Trying To Locate Stuart Of Bezerkley Automotive
MBS206 replied to Braddock's topic in New South Wales
Stu is now working just as a normal mechanic at another mechanical shop. Bezerkley itself is closed. You should still be able to get in contact with him (With delay) on these forums. -
They're a complete custom setup. Car space is all measure up, and then they are built to suit.
-
For those who are interested, PM N1GTR! He'll pass you the details.
-
That's at full speed... The funny part, you still manage to do over 60Miles!

So, I managed to get me a Air Compressor! Little 30L unit, comes with an air gun, tyre filler and a spray painting gun. The only thing I need to buy for it now is a 1/2" rattle gun!

Dave, my whole exhaust system is purely custom, can have it made to any length and shape etc with the mufflers. The guy who does it is a family friend, to build my exhaust I had to take the car there, jack it all up, and he actually went under it and measure all sorts of things to get the mufflers the perfect lengths etc to fit. You can fit some MASSIVE mufflers in there, including before the catalytic converter. PM me if you want me to try T-up a time/day to have a lot

Or just enough to get you to the shops and back on E85... Also the wheel rules are so farking weird. Secondly, the surge tank in boot isn't illegal if it is covered and vented properly. (It really should be setup on a charcoal canister like the tank). This is the same for the battery, if you don't have a sealed battery it is meant to be enclosed and vented outside of the car (For R33s etc)

Rb25de (supercharged) Project
MBS206 replied to r33_racer's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
9" will fit also. I'm running a cat, followed by a 5" mid muffler thats 550 mm long (Able to go out to 950MM from memory we measured), followed by a 7" Body, 950mm long, (These are both "cannon" style but custom made with fibre glass packing) The rear one we measured we can push out to around 9/10" round without an issue. There is also room to fit a 5" body stainless packed front muffler before the cat (Like some rotary guys do) We looked at if need be on my system running the stainless muffler as part of the dump pipe. There is so much room under a skyline for mufflers, it's awesome. -
Never heard of this before. It's actually pretty funny, the amount of extra fuel flow you get going from 99% to 100% compared to 98% to 99%... The amount of fuel flowing at 90%, is not going to be 90% of the CC rating. It's actually less as you have to take into affect dead time, plus the lower flow when the injector is first opening and then again closing.
