  1. It sounds extremely likely you've broken the clutch pedal bracket then. When I snapped mine the friction point was basically at the floor.
  2. Chibs, if it went from "perfectly normal" to "pick up very low and broken" in a space of getting in and out, then you have either a leaking hydraulic system/broken pivots etc OR the clutch pedal has broken. If you're not loosing fluid, then I'd say you've broken the pivot or the clutch pedal bracket. Since adjusting it helped, I'd say you've broken the clutch pedal bracket. Which means get it fixed. Climb under the dash upside down, look at the clutch pedal where it mounts in up high, if as you press it the bracket moves, you've snapped the bracket. Pull the dash out, reweld the bracket.
  3. Actually, it does the exact same thing. The headers are the BIGGEST gain you can make on an NA car. After the first muffler/catalytic converter, the only difference you can get, is if you put a blockage in the exhaust. Go too big, exhaust gasses will cool though, slow, and cause a restriction. As soon as you put a muffler/catalytic converter in, you lose the "pulsing" effect of the exhaust, once you lose the pulsing effect, you lose the ability to scavenge. It is one thing to remember though, that the distance of the first muffler/cat converter from the end of the secondary join CAN affect performance. As you still have pulsing in this front section of pipe, you CAN tune the pulsing to scavenge the secondarys.
  4. I knocked my temp sensor off one day to the ECU, car wasn't too happy about it once warmed up.
  5. From memory, he also has upto 14 days to make a claim before you are able to take legal action.
  6. Oweban, you went soft as... Epically soft since you wouldn't let me drive it! Even Mel, Dave and Eric handed over keys... PS, Looks like after a 10hour flight, I will be driving to Canberra just so I can make it back to Texi at 5AM the next morning... Big ups to Sean for a lend of a car!
  7. Chubbs, you buy my ECU, and I'll buy Owens ECU... Deal?
  8. Let me know how you find it Neil... I tried to use on for a few hours... I then yelled and screamed for a bit, and now have a big mess of an ugly pipe that I managed to flare myself... Next time I've going braided hose!!!
  9. If he SMS'd you, how is his phone number wrong?
  10. Hey all! I finally made it in after 10PM after Duncan and I stopped to offer assistance at a crash, and then furthe down the road performing repairs in a service station for to another persons car... I had a great time up at the track, even if I did only get to work on peoples cars To all the people I met on the weekend I was Duncan and Chris' pit crew.
  11. Hey Ryan, you missed out...
  12. I second broken clutch pedal mount inside the car.
  13. Either Duncan or Mitch like little boys... Note to self, don't leave notebook turned on and facebook and SAU logged in when you leave the apartment...
  14. Just had dinrar at pub... With beers and spirits.
  15. Hey they're not that bad... They're just a little... Well, strange. LOL
  16. Kel, what were the entry costs for THC?
  17. Owen, you shouldn't have an issue with him at all. I hear mainly good feedback.
  18. I'll practice for you instead okay? Yeah yeah, I know, you've finally got your bearings reliable and don't want me smashing them... How about I just drink the beer for you instead then?
  19. Don't get smashed the night before... Unfortunately, I'm going to be very busy on this weekend and unable to attend.
  20. Dave, I'd be taking people up on offers to take one for a drive. I've driven two R33 GTRs recently, not in 100% full anger, as I drove one of them on the street, and I love my licence too much, the other was Eric's at the skid pan, and I just didn't want to break such a beautiful car, but I still gave it a bit. The big thing I noticed is how different they are to drive to a GTSt. As much as we all say "They're RWD until you break them loose!" I still think they drive and steer differently. Very hard to explain.
  21. Because the 25 motor is a great motor. The RB30 has some benefits, but there are also some drawbacks. When converting, you need to take into account, a few extra costs, such as changes to engine mounts, intercooler piping etc.
  22. You do know, to stop the nagging, you just need to unplug the driver/navigator intercom right? Facespace... That's facespace Drunkan Extremely glad to hear she's all good, although, I feel sorry for the doctor who said she wasn't allowed out of the hospital to go drinking tonight! Any word on exactly what happened? I understand head on into an embankment at speed, was this a mechanical failure or a normal racing incident? I so wish I didn't get car sick whilst trying to read notes... It seems the easiest way to get into this stuff the fun way!!! As you encountered, even me trying to use a phone to browse the net for a minute or two made me ill and we were cruising on a public road! Absolutely great to hear Alex went well, I was following her facebook postings, and initially thought she'd just gone down to spectate! Hrm, now to find out the easiest way into it as a driver... If that won't work, official!
  23. I have a huge question... How hard are you turning on the street if you're wearing the outside of your front tyres with ~1.5 degrees camber? Have you checked the rest of your toe/caster settings?
  24. From what I've been reading on FB, if she's not in high spirits Neil, then it has to be the Morphine doing the typing! Hope she's all okay and outta there quick smart!
