And in my experience are a bunch of *Can't be said here* I had insurance with them, they were the only place to go near a 19YO in a relatively stock R33. Insured at $14 500, they want 3K a year. and in the region of that again if I claimed, no parking on the street (Or within 500metres of the house) etc etc etc, Really crappy conditions. The year later, I had an even better NCB, guess what, they now wanted $3 600 a year, dropped "agreed" value to $12 000, and put the excess up a couple of hundred also, and then stated that within 1000KM of my house I was not insured when parking over night etc) Left them, went to GIO, they were awesome, insured for $23K, from memory $1800 a year, and pretty affordable excess, then they stopped doing it moved to JC. No issues so far, I just made my excess high to get a $1400 a year premium. And Terry: That double in premium was what I was quoted, then again, it seems to be if you change operators on the phone your premium can shift a few hundred! And his house was basically the start of a really dodgy neighbourhood, I live the 2KM away on the "good" side. Oh and when I started with Famous, and GIO I had a perfect driving record and insurance record.

Isn't it funny, per capita Australia is actually fatter then America. And how about this for weight loss, they just ban fuel for cars altogether. Your location will also play a part in insurance. Crazily, for me to insure my car at my mates place who lived less then 2KM from me, nearly doubled the price of insurance... With ONLY that change... That'swhat I call crazy!

It has already been proven, that Australia does not have the usable land space to allow Ethanol to become a highly used replacement fuel. America did a big swap to supporting farmers for growing crops purely for creation of Ethanol... They started to have food supply issues...

Never had issues with Caltex 98. In fact it's all I run. Personally I used to find Shell had a placebo of more grunt, but less economy (Which after reading, was found to be because Shell runs more cleaning agents then Caltex, hence less fuel to burn) Caltex gave better economy then Shell, but ever so slightly less top end punch (Placebo again) but the car sounded like it idled smoother. BP I've only ever run once as I got the worlds worst batch of fuel that caused it to kick and buck and belch flames. Personally, I swap between Caltex and Shell without a second thought, I mainly stick to Caltex as it's cheaper for me.

YAY!!! Oh and Shell, my R33 just got put in my garage, so the brakes and harness etc will all be stripped out this week for the next Work'n Weekend!

Hey Guys, I have a Holden Commodore VT Series 1 Executive Wagon. The car is a V6 Automatic Wagon. Colour is White. The inside of the car is in pretty good condition, except for the front seats, where the bottom plastic surrounds have come un-clipped. The body is pretty decent, car is straight, and just has paint cracked on the rear bumper bar where it appears it has been hit from behind very lightly (Car is straight, bar has not popped off) The car currently needs a new alternator, and won't start as it has been sitting for around 3 months un-started. (The car DID run before it was left to sit) Since being left to sit, the car has lapsed in rego, but it will currently pass a pink slip if you get it started and alternator replaced. Between working on my Skyline, and the bike that's being converted into a buggy, plus having a work car to get me around, I don't have the time or want any more to get this car going again (Give it one weekend and you'd have one clean Commodore) The car is based at the moment in Wollongong (Dapto) NSW. You would have until the 10th of July before the car requires a blueslip. Tyres are in good condition. From memory the car has around 250 000KM on it. (Battery is flat, so I can't check it) Asking price is at $1,200 ONO. I'm going to have it up here for around 2 weeks, and after that it goes to the wreckers as I have no room for it at my house, and it is currently sitting on the front lawn of my Mum's house taking up space.
