  1. So what actually happens when you hit 6PSi? And is this just off of the stock guage it's hitting "7"? Put an aftermarket boost guage on. You could be maxing the stock boost guage out (The sender unit)
  2. After thought Pull your spark plugs out, and give the key a quick hit. This will tell me straight away if it's a compression issue.
  3. Sounds like a battery. Are you able to attempt to clutch it? Also, you don't happen to have injectors that dribble do you?
  4. BAM: I know of guys who run return lines from down UNDER the front bar on the drivers side back to the intake pipe. As for back fires. Seriously. Think, what is a backfire. It's fuel, igniting as it goes out of the engine. What does ignited fuel create? Heat. What do ceramic turbos hate? Heat...
  5. Do you live in Wollongong? If you're talking about the camera in Fairy Meadow, it's accurate
  6. plumbback Nice and quiet. Venting was invented for race cars. The view was, they didn't want air entering the engine that has to go through the turbo 2 or 3 times, so they'd dump it to atmosphere. As for back fires. If you have ceramic turbines, yes, it can be quite bad for the turbo.
  7. I'm on boost in the manual by around 15-20km/h (not full boost, but making boost) The auto you can have boosting easily on the spot if you know how
  8. At the moment, I don't realy want to seperate them I have the two wiring looms setup together for both the screen and DVD player, and don't feel like seperating them out. If someone wants to buy the whole lot, but only wants say the DVD player, work it out with the other guys that they buy the screen of you.
  9. ATM, I don't want to split the Screen/DVD player Pics: Tomorrow.
  10. Adaptronic ECU with plug and play loom.
  11. Check gearbox mounts too
  12. It seems to be hooked up properly. Are you adjusting the high or low boost on the boost controller. If you turn the high boost thingy, you'll need to flick the switch for high boost to see what it's set at.
  13. No it's not a Skyline link, yes it's for a Supra, but again, most of it still applies (Bar how to directly adjust suspension stuff) http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=18639 And EUG, your bug gets me everytime! nearly everytime I go to wipe my monitor!
  14. All those covers are the same. We have a VERY expensive one on our Chev, dust still goes through. We got those thick winter type sheets and stitched them together as a first layer, they sit on the paint, all nice and soft, then the other cover goes over it. Can't remember the name of the material, but it's those really thick winter sheets etc. Others will know.
  15. I got done for mine by HWP last December No fines, just had to pay for blueslip, who then demanded I have it engd, so it ended up costing me $350 (And that was a VERY discounted eng cert) My engineer was in a happy mood, so yeah, cheap prices on eng cert. A mate got done around 3 months ago in his R33 for a pod filter by HWP, and he copped a $70 fine. It's up to who ever is issuing the defect notice whether they do or don't fine you, and how much it costs.
  16. My skyline is manual. It's pretty fun, but there's so many times I want it to be auto... I'm currently selling it to build my other car, which is going to be staying auto. Why? I'm getting over the whole clutch thing. When I can smack the loud pedal and have it take off. Plus the torque multiplication from the torque convertor. That and as Security is saying, an auto Skyline is 100times easier to launch. Whilst it should technically be half a second slower, when you compare it with great drivers in both. In reality, most people on the road can't launch a car for shit. I'm one of them. I tend to leave the mark either bogged or frying tyres. I've never frakked a launch up in an auto yet. Plus, torque convertors don't where out any where near as much as clutches do.
  17. He might seeing how america is like all imperial and all...

  19. Price Drop. Okay guys I need this sold, as I'm commited to buying a new engine, to drop into one of my other cars, which is going to become my daily so that I can save for my unit. Someone must want to help me out, give me a ring, have a chat, come have a look, see if you like. This car WON'T disappoint.
  20. Vote1 for Shaved head/thinner head gasket. Increases CR a bit. Most likely a few degrees extra dialled in on the CAS. Check what timing it runs at idle, unsure on the GTS, but on the GTS-t it should be 15degrees.
  21. Okay. My Supra held dead level, with a R34 GTT (Auto in both) Later on, I got my rear end handed to me by a V8 VN with an exhaust. Basically, the R32 would most likley be beaten down like my Supra against a V8 in the VN. Now against the V6, on the roll, I just start to loose out. So I'd be hazarding a guess, that the R32 would loose out too (BTW, my Supra IS twin turbo)
  22. Back to the top Guys, I'm open to offers, also forgot, the car has Split fire coil packs.
  23. Crushing the cars gives people more incentive to run from the police. Which, 9/10 ends in a much more serious accident then what usually happens in a street race. Most street races involve a straight stretch of road. High speed police chases involve every piece of road possible.
