  1. How abuot stop destroying the environment and killing future generations. Whilst you're on the road, even if only 10% of the time, you risk I beleive it's a $15 000 or $25 000 fine. Might as well be prepared to sell the car to pay it.
  2. Run a normal exhaust. You still need a catalytic convertor for legalities...
  3. Guys, I'll vouch for the fact the phones are 100% legit. They are NOT stolen at all.
  4. I've actually heard of people running times. Then stripping stereo etc out (But this included subs etc) Taking out spare wheel etc etc. And running slower times. They just didn't seem to manage the traction the weight gave them off the mark.
  5. I've seen people drive "easily" in there R33s, and come up to neutral pressure/slight boost. When I cruise, I'm at around 10mm hg when accelerating to a cruise speed. I barely touch the throttle when cruising. Other people "cruise" just as "slow" and use alot more throttle.
  6. A flat spot will just show that one side is slightly heavier, add weight to the other side. Problem still happens that the tyre goes round round round FLAT round round round FLAT. Each time it hits a flat, it "hops"/"shakes" Major badness!
  7. I've decided what I want, but I have to wait until after chrissy to order...
  8. I'd be looking at driving style then.
  9. I'd be upgrading both personally. Do fuel pump, and injectors. Although, if you can hook a pressure guage up to the fuel line, and measure the pressure when the inj duty cycly hits 100% If the pressure drops, throw in a new pump, if pressure stays up, throw in a new set of injectors. AFM, time to upgrade by the sound of that.
  10. The sound deadening is where the main gain will be, I'd be guessing around 100-200KG in sound deadening!
  11. Can I have one too please? I've only been track side in go-karts...
  12. Thanks Bob... Sorry, things like this irritate me, because of what happened to my father...
  13. My exhaust is EXTREMELY tight on my commodore, yet it still has a 3mm gap... Just keep tightening until it won't any more...
  14. Lifeless, half a second... Don't know what you were driving, but my mates hits boost at 1900RPM and redlines out at 7000RPM. That's spending longer on boost then my RB motor. As for rolling burnouts... I can pop a rolling burnout in 3rd gear at 100km/h. Lets see your magna do that! You so should have just been a stain on the sheet after your dad had a wank. Idiot! And mate, I'm 19, I have my Ps, I OWN my 1994 R33 GTS-t MYSELF. I also own my 94 VR Acclaim Commodore. I also own my Nissan Navara 1988 Ute. My parents have NEVER given me a car. My family has a beleif, if you are given it, you will not appreciate it. And as you have shown, you have been given family cars, and you have flogged the SHIT out of them. My mate gave me his R33 Keys, and it NEVER went any where NEAR boost, even when he told me to give it a little hit. Late at night hey. That's all fine, EXCEPT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE LATE AT NIGHT! And mate, racing has been in my family for a while. I HAVE to PAY MYSELF each time I step near the track. If I write my car off at the race track, I have to pay to tow it home. My father won't even come to pick me up. Racing, on the street, is STUPID. Utterly, utterly stupid. Just have a look on the SMH, at all the people, LATE AT NIGHT, who wrapped cars around telegraph poles, killing themselves, killing there passengers, and killing INNOCENT bystanders. Also, you can't jump straight in a car, and know exactly how it's going to handle. One R33 you might jump into, feel identical to another, but you accelerate mid corner in one of them, and it'll 180 on you. Do it in the other R33, and it'll go straight ahead! And you WON'T know, what it's going to do, until it does it. When you're pushing the limits, crossing to the wrong side of the road, running into someones Mother, Father, Daughter, Son, Grand Child, Friend. That's when you know what that car will do, when it's too late on the road. Take it on the track, the worst thing that you can hit, a tyre wall, or a sandtrap. Motor racing is dangerous. Even in a specialistically setup conditions on the road, it will kill. Take a look at the late Peter Brock. One of THE greatest drivers to ever live, and his life was taken, on a public road, in "race" type driving. Don't say it won't happen to you! I just pray, when it does, you just find a tree/telegraph pole, and NOONE is around to be injured bar you. I'm sorry, but I truly beleive your mother should have swallowed! Evil-Weevil: unfortunately, the police couldn't charge him with much, as they legally couldn't give a speed estimate, due to the fact the wanker was still accelerating AFTER hitting 2 parked cars (Side swipe) and collecting my father on the wrong side of the road. He thought he was Mark Skaife, he got proved wrong. So hence, he got let off with a few fines and charges, and ALOT of court fees.
  15. Falconias. Where do you get your oncar wheel balance done at. Not a single place down here that I've spoken to, know of an on-car wheel balance.
  16. Sameo. Both my windows in the 33 Rattle. I was going to come searching in the next few days for a fix, might just do this next friday night before the Bathurst Cruise. I like driving with partly open window, but the rattle was pissing me off!
  17. You can't extimate your UAI. With the marks I got in the SC, I got a 79, I looked it up, using the exact same marks, if I'd done the HSC 3 years earlier, I'd have had a 95+ UAI. Each year, the marks sway differently. The UAI is worked out, on a whole of how you went, compared to everyone else.
  18. You want to do what you want on the road hey? Next f'ucking retard that says that I'll find a way to make it so you can never drive again. Some retard thought he was mark skaife too around 8 years ago. He thought he had his licence and would drive how he wanted, and if he killed himself, so fu'cking what. Well guess what, he did crash, but you know what the biggest f'ucking piss off to me was?! He hit my dad, at between 140-180KM/h, IN A 50 ZONE! GO AND GET F'UCKED YOU LITTLE MORON! Don't be a dick head on the road. The road is there for EVERYONE. When you stuff up, 90% of the time, the driver walks away. It's the passengers/innocents around them that are killed, and scarred for the rest of there lives. So get f'ucked, and DON'T you DARE get your licence, with an attitude like that! And as for a Magna being quicker then a 180 ROFLMAO!!! Magna, could probably run the 1/4 in around 15/16 seconds, is FWD, handles like a bag of shit (I driven enough of them!) SR20DET, sports car, capable of easy 13/14 second passes, has a "sports" chassis and suspension setup, would out do a "Magna" any day of the week! As for everyone who keeps going "I'm such a great driver" Bring it to the racetrack, get in an equal car to what one of the other guys have, and watch them hand your ass to you, each and every corner, each and every lap. People with no f'ucking respect for the road piss me the hell off! Morons!
  19. The oil from the cat, would be from between the gearbox and motor. What you're probably spitting is condensation, and carbon build up. It comes out VERY black, and filthy and stains like a mofo! Get someone to start the car after a humid day, followed by a cold night, while you have your hand over the tail pipe (Let the gas get out though!) and you'll find it to be carbon most likely built up in the exhaust.
  20. If you ever get a negative in a loan repayment, just slip another negative in somewhere to make it right... ROFL... Man, so glad my uni maths exam is now over! Fudged a few questions up, made a few marks up elsewhere... Here's hoping I pass this course...
  21. Plus, O2 sensors don't spit the dummy until they're basically utterly useless. That's when the Computer detects an issue.
  22. Had a commodore, wanted to do it up for track work. Was looking at $7000 for engine setup I wanted. $2500 in suspension $2500 in brakes. Still needed diff upgrading, and gearbox probably wanting strengthening... That's $12 000 in upgrades... Plus still needing more... For what I was going to spend on mods, I bought a skyline. A mate threw me the keys to his, Car was dead stock, bar minor suspension setup. Car handled, and stopped exactly how I wanted. Car went good even for a stocker. I bought mine with a couple of mods done. Goes like a rocket (Well, compared to what I had... ) Now I'm trying to sell a Commodore...
  23. Notice how the bus collided with the car? If they were racing and lost control, I don't think the bus would have kept up... Unless of course the guy spun and the bus plowed him. Which I doubt it...
  24. You'll get reamed by the cops for even putting an exhaust on the car, yet alone all the other bits you wanted to do to your N/A Buy an N/A car, keep it that. I've had HEAPS of driving experience, from trucks, to FWD, to FWD Turbos, to V8 RWDs... I've even had some track time with go-karts etc. NOTHING prepared me for getting in a turbo car. The night I picked it up, I actually scared myself. Came out of a corner I knew really well (Hair pin), on a steep downhill, so was using 2nd gear to hold my speed so I didn't burn the breaks. As I exit the corner I went to accelerate out like I used to in my old car (Put down about 1/4 throttle just to get back up to the speed limit) but stupid me forgot, IT'S TURBO! Hit boost and shit myself. No matter how long you've driven for. If you've never DRIVEN a turbo, you'll most likely wrap it around a pole... NOT FUN! I'm tame on the streets when driving, and I've had a few "close calls" (Sideways etc). And I also used to get my old ute out on dirt/grass and throw it around to handle the slides, but a turbo car is TOTALLY different to an N/A when being thrown around. They are SO much more responsive to the throttle. In all honest opinion, I was against these laws when they came in (Being a P-plater, even though I'm exempt) but now, after buying a turbo, I'm all for them. Turbos are bloody dangerous. IMO, a 200RWHP turbo, is alot more dangerous, then a 300RWHP N/A engine... Turbos just thump the power down suddenly and pull like a train to redline. Do yourself a favour. Avoid the torture of being pulled over and questioned, I know HEAPS of people who have been questioned over it, and heaps of P-platers on here have had the same questions. So yes, the police do check. 99% of the police know the difference between an N/A and a Turbo engine, just by looking at it from above (See how an NA engine has a shit load LESS pipes?) And can I get $50 off my first track day to learn my car?
