  1. Actually there's no technical or legal reason why you can't. There is no Law against an older engine in a newer car. What the law does state is that the emissions must meet that of the newest items, either the car, or the engine. Therefore if you drop all the RB25 emissions gear on, the setup is fine. Depending on state you may need an engineers cert for the capacity increase.
  2. Have fun mate! Remember that tyre warm up just like we practiced in Adelaide...
  3. @PranK, the wide banners are back. This one was in NsW members section, not sure if it's a setting per area?
  4. Only other thing is my avatar doesn't seem to be working. I think Luke (from whoretown) has the same issue too.
  5. Also just realised (as a small ad appeared up top) that the same big ass ads are appearing right at the very bottom (at least when at the main forum screen.
  6. I've put up two screen shots, one "normal" the other one having to scroll over of the same ad.
  7. Hey prank, when on the mobile site (not the app) the adverts at the top span way wider than the screen. It's a PITA as when you go to flick down while reading the screen goes sideways. Also when you click the button to see the menu pop up for notifications etc. Because the screen is so wide from the advert, you need to scroll sideways. I thought it was going to be just the new numberplate advert. But now another one is doing the same.
  8. In my experience with them they're also normally captive meaning the spring needs to be compressed while the wheel is at full droop, or the bottom shock nut has to be undone and the bottom of the shock comes out first.
  9. Great to hear some rear traction is back Neil! Edit: Though when I last saw her she drove very nicely, on a circuit that is
  10. All good mate, going to grab some deflators for it. My poor legs and knees don't like being kneeled down the whole time. And yep. HEAPS of off road maps hit locked gates or private property. Had the same issue before when following other maps, ha ha. I need a snorkel too, been through a few water crossings I shouldn't have and risking an engine, ha ha. Have fun at Tamworth, hope you beat the other guy... if not you can always lend him your tyre gauge
  11. Well that's a shit go! Just so you know, I find those BMW ones quite accurate, and when they give up, the gauge part can clear about 2metres of flight on a 42PSI tyre...
  12. Tell Mel, in a few weeks I'll come up and we can go test out that Hema! Good luck in Tamworth too!
  13. Will that valve close in the event of a roll over? I'm assuming it does.
  14. She goes well the Patrol, though if she ran on E85, you'd have to book her in to Alcoholics Anonymous!
  15. or take it for a mafless tune...
  16. Not bad in times, considering I f**ked up so many courses with WD and a few spin out/stalls... Had been too long since driving a car in anger, remember clutch in for handbrake was my hard part... Ha ha... But ute doesn't mind a 3rd gear skid
  17. Clearly the pilots parachute failed to open, that's all there is to it.
  18. You need to fab up a little clasp that goes over your harness clip and stops you un doing it mid slide PS: I think I have your bad habit of leaving a hand down by the handbrake...
  19. Wooo to the volunteers, especially the time and gate keepers! Was a fun day, and while I need to tweak my driving (Or reduce the amount of water...) I still had a ball! Will see how funds are closer to track day for entering it.
  20. We've stopped running... For lunch... Back soon!
  21. Chubbs do you need me to bring the cordless drill and teck screws? Let me know asap as ill be leaving in 20 - 30 minutes
  22. you convinced your mum to cook for us?! Awesome!!! Good to hear though, I only bought snack food then went "ahhh... I wonder if lunch is still done..."
  23. Just read the first post again, does the club still do the BBQ or is it BYO lunch and method of cooking?
