  1. Fyi, apart from what Owen noted on your map, if you just follow the Illawarra highway to sheep wash road, then don't bother with a recon. I'm on all of those roads all the time and wouldn't have a worry with any lowered cars on it. nasho has a few bumps, but nothing catastrophic like it used to. Its actually quite smooth through there ib contrast to days gone by. Be aware though, there will be plenty of people using those roads during the day at lower than the speed limit, including push bike riders
  2. OH EM GEE... This is such an awesome buy! In an alternate universe...
  3. trucks aren't inspected by RMS for their pink slips, they go to a heavy vehicle inspector, which can be just a mechanic with the license.a local mechanic to us does a lot of the semis in Wollongong. RMS does inspections for things like defect clearing.
  4. for the "inspection" side of things, they should make headlights and rear tail lights actually mandatory. The only times ive come close to wiping out a cyclist is of a night when they have no lights or reflectors and theyre wearing black!they should also recommend bikes install actual brake lights and indicators...
  5. Interesting thing... i read an article only last night, mainly about wearing helmets and how it actually found a higher percentage of helmet wearers were injured, drivers drove closer to them etc. It also registered a statistic the aus government found after bringing in compulsory helmets, and that was a 30% decline in people riding bikes... so maybe registration will solve a lot of issues as a lot more people will give up riding potentially...
  6. Last one i know of that got sold went for more than 20k, therefore worth more than 20. Typical pom!
  7. Nick are you trying to work out price for insurance purposes? personally id be going agreed value minimum of 20k. its a custom car, "paint work" wheels, suspension, engine conversion, mods to conversion. gotta think about what it will cost you to replace it.
  8. The Mona Lisa hung to the bottom of the bonnet, then put a few dogs in there playing poker, and metal a few clocks over the engine bay.
  9. Yep it still is.
  10. I'm interested to know, where did you get the cap from for the washer bottle tank?
  11. I'm surprised we had enough Skylines running to represent with
  12. But you do have to be able to run quicker than a 13.5 if non turbo
  13. Should have taken my offer
  14. Because it goes on what the car came with. you took a turbo car, and modified it.
  15. youre conflicting the forums with the club. Two separate things.the club does not control the forums
  16. correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it state that you have an interest in skylines not that you own one?
  17. Have you also hooked it up to a rocker switch for use as a rain light?
  18. damn 13PSI killing motors! Whys you run so much boost for?! Were you trying to be a 1 bar superstar but fell shy?
  19. And the car is all sold. Will make another thread for just the remaining parts.
  20. Sorry, no coupe foglights with it. Has a Sedan front bar with it.
  21. I remember when texi was about times... Not smoke shows...
  22. Bump! Bump bump it up! Still got this thing, start making offers if you want to start stripping it people. If it gets stripped, ECU will 99% stay in my posession though.
  23. Sorry mate, ECU is one of the items I'm keen to keep if everything else sells. Still here by the way guys, and is now running, and able to be moved around under its own power.
  24. So would I, considering it's not an easy "drop 2.5K of parts and off you go" Trans tunnel has been bashed, trans mount welded up, spot welds removed and need rewelding, (And then painting)... I'd def take $6K on it.
