  1. And here I was thinking it was mine
  2. Are you telling me they're finally sending you to a different base?Or change in careers?
  3. FYP Properly.
  4. Corinne sent us to Berry before telling us Robertson... Beau and I facepalmed so hard...
  5. Pfft, trade price is $19 diffy Ask tats, I got him cheap cheap extinguisher
  6. The worst problem is that the moment you put your pride and joy on the trailer, there is some asshole that tail gates you the whole way! Also, you need to reset your mirrors to watch the trailer a little bit more (watch the wheels on white lines) You will soon have a new appreciation for trickiest on Sydney roads. PS, avoid Canterbury road... One wheel on each white line the whole way... LOL
  7. Any trailer That is over 750KG has to be braked by law. They use an override brake. That is, the trailer actually slides along a shaft that is connected to your tow ball. As the shaft pushes through it moves a lever to pull a cable which yanks the brakes on. Makes for lots of bangs through the car if you aren't smooth on the brake or stop a little quickly.
  8. I dunno, some of the girls around here can't drive unless the front wheels of their "no homo" car helps pull them...
  9. Not rated means not insured. And if the row vehicle is too light it can be disastrous in the event of needing to stop quickly, or goin around curves and down hill.
  10. I'm not sure what Santa fe you have, but you may want to check you can actually load the at up that much. I bought an R33 home on the back of my XR6T the other weekend, and I wouldn't recommend it. Also, I used uhaul, $146 fully insured no excess. Tie down points were shit, but towed great. Ramps were a little short for my liking.
  11. Why you no work on Saturday! Dif and I were looking for lunch and we'd have come to your work! And then we could have touchéd you inappropriately
  12. OMG! Check out that magnetic carbon fibre boot lid!
  13. The 6 Speed is meant to be the best. And yep, I have the 6 Speed.I just wouldn't do it. Get a 4WD, and buy a cheap daily if fuel economy is your concern and you need this tow vehicle to get you around day to day.
  14. Agree with Kylie.Either Beaches at Thirroul, or head around to Ryans for actually good food. Beaches has a nice position though if you want to sit outside. Been a while since I've been to Ryans. Edit: Trying to get to Towradgi Beach Hotel will be a night mare with a bunch of people. Not to mention Sunday gets quite busy there.
  15. OCD, why you so obsessive about capitals?
  16. Isn't this only on the skylines with Hydraulic HICAS? R33 runs electronic Hicass...
  17. Not an FG XR6T... I think what we'll all find, is that Ford put the speed restriction on the Falcon as weight goes up, not because it's dangerous, more so to stop the gearbox ass ploding. At 110KM/H, it likes to try and sit in 4th gear, on boost when climbing a hill. when things start to get a bit steep and you keep the foot in to keep it climbing... You can just tell the gearbox doesn't like it, but back it down to 80km/h, it'll slip back to 3rd gear, and it's happy as larry. I had an R33 GTSt on the back of my FG last weekend, it towed it fine, bar the weight going up hill, and chewing over half a tank of premium to get from Dulwich Hill to Wollongong. (Far too much fuel IMO!) It would probably cost me $90 in premium to go to Wakefield, and then another $90 to come home again. I actually had to stand on the anchors and she did pull up. (ABS got a work out, but she pulled up in a hurry, I was quite impressed actually at how well it pulled up)
  18. Repco tools also come with a lifetime warranty! Most of my tools are repco branded. The worse I've done is put a very minor bend in one of the extension bars of my socket set... And I may or may not have had a 2metre piece of pipe on it to do so...
  19. Dear Harry, I am sending you my apologies. An FG XR6T is a POS car to tow a skyline with. Regards, Matt
  20. From everything I've seen, Insurance can only decline a claim on illegally modified parts if the illegal part can be proven to be the cause of the accident.
  21. ZF gearbox oil I've heard is around $200 to fill the box in the falcon "because it's all synthetic" or some shit.
  22. My yacht can go though! It should roll out a mid 13 with ease!
  23. All I hear is excuses...
  24. Depends on how much you love your mother and if your 1st born has life insurance..
  25. Really? Are you that much of a pansy you won't drive in the rain, or is it just that your car leaks/lacks a roof?I'd only avoid Mac Pass in extremely extremely cold weather (Like we had last friday) and it's raining, this equals snow + black ice. Oh and in a raging thunderstorm that you really shouldn't be leaving your house because of, as it'll bring branches down.
