  1. Wait... Hangon... You're suddenly going 1UZ and T56 instead of 25/30?
  2. When the VT/VX Commodore was new, it was very common to see them missing their clear side indicators...
  3. Do a test and ditch the vented bonnet. Cars are designed so that when moving, you end up with a high pressure point ABOVE the bonnet, and a low pressure point under the car. This helps in aerodynamics, but also has a MAJOR contributing factor to air flow through the engine bay. Cars with lifted bonnets at the rear often come across an issue where they over heat, especially when being worked, purely because there is a MASSIVE high pressure zone at the back of the bonnet and air enters through here, and escapes under the car meaning not as much air actually flows through the IC and/or Radiator. Try boxing as much of your air intakes at the front direct to the radiator/FMIC, as well as changing the bonnet, and throw a BRAND NEW fan and hub on.
  4. Have you left a bolt/socket sitting on the guards/under the hinges...
  5. Fatz, let some people know about it either way. We've had people slowly sending forms/money in. But the more the merrier.
  6. Is this still for sale?
  7. Chris, go to 10mm plate is what i've been advised by all the exhaust guys. They see warping issues after use with 5/6mm stuff. As for gearbox adapters, why the T56? It's a clunky as f**k gearbox. If I could have easily, I would have avoided using it altogether with my LS1 and stuck with the 5Speed. If you've got a Toyota engine, get the V160 Box.
  8. Ah bugger! on not getting down to see it that is. It's back at my place at the moment while I get some other things sorted before it goes back up. If you get creative, I think you could do an LS1 and TT. Although looking at the Toyota 6.2L V8 Twin Turbo that some guys just shoe horned into a JZA80... I think that's a better route then the LS1/2/3/X... They're supposedly making 2500HP from it... And it's a road car...
  9. Now you see why Americans give all the little shits so many lollies... So they wake up with affectively a hangover...
  10. What needs doing to the skyline for rego?
  11. My god! He sure loves to punt cars off the track!
  12. Not registered. Able to link video?
  13. I'm gunna go down on the 17th of December. You should come Fatz!
  14. PS: I'll do an updated entry list on Thursday guys. I need to give Dave some time to get home and send the forms to me... LOL
  15. She can come out as a passenger... Or even double enter her... I mean... The car, and let her co drive... You know what I mean...
  16. Kitto: Never met someone who's broken an oil pump from limiter abuse hey? Let me know when you're in my kneck of the woods, I'll come say hi. Then you'll know someone who has broken an oil pump through limiter abuse.
  17. Yeah mate, I'm in the gong. I'll be out this Thursday, but I can do it the one after if you're fine to wait? Just PM me closer to the day to remind me.
  18. f**k off! That's a 1JZ!
  19. There are lots of fors and againsts. Some people claim it using manifold causes boost spikes as you run a longer actuator line as well as a longer pressure source etc etc. I used to run my old TD07S off the manifold, never had boost spike issues, and I actually had a reason... I had no BOV, there fore I wanted my pressure source to my wastegate in vacuum during gear shifts rather then seeing the huge pressure in the cooler pipes. This forced the wastegate shut whilst shifting, and made the car come back on boost hard again... But on a nice little street setup, I'd have the pressure source as close to the turbo as possible.
  20. If he is running lines straight to the wastegate, then no amount of restrictors can lower the boost, no matter what you do. Restricting air/pressure to the wastegate will only INCREASE the boost not lower it. Ruxis, I can come have a quick look over the car soon for you and make sure it's all hooked up properly (Didn't watch the vid) and check that nothing should detonate. Also, if you paint the FMIC black then it's not likely to be spotted by the police to begin with, so no issue there.
  21. Sorry, there was a message to not drink drive in that?.. I couldn't stop laughing at the accents aye bru...
  22. No point having the car built so that you can't run the boost you want...
  23. Good work Mark! About time you got a good run from your car!!!
  24. Edit: NVM... I thought he quoted Zebra and was arguing...
