  1. sounds like timing belt is way too loose. if you dont know when it was done last put a timing belt kit in it

  5. ive been using one for over 2 years now no problem. holds what ever boost i want it to (14psi and up). Just lap the valve into the seat to give it a decent seal and have had no dramas
  6. definetly will be a vacuum related issue with booster. check that the one way vavle in the booster hose isnt buggered.. just get another bit of hose in its place temporarly to check. if that doesnt work id say your booster is finished.
  7. Z145A is the standard RB motor oil filter. Dont know about genuine 99% chance they are the same filter
  8. the guy wants to use all the standard computer and wiring, most of the 25 wiring all plugs in except for a white 6 pin plug that goes to the motor, but the main problem is where the the 20 loom goes into the fuse box, the plugs are completely different. i would use the 20 loom except the loom doesnt have knock sensor wires and the white 6 pin plug to go to the motor. 90% of the conversion is done just need the wiring to be sorted to finally finish it.
  9. currently putting a series 1 rb25 into a r32, Swapped over the engine loom to a standard rb25 computer and wiring harness and currently trying to sort out the wiring for the 2nd loom (starter, alt, oil pressure, gearbox wiring etc.) Does anybody know what exactly needs to be done to get the 25 loom to work with the r32 fusebox and exsiting wiring. Auto electrician did not know what to do even with supplied diagrams....... Have searched and there is no clear guide on what to do exactly. Any body have answers? Thanks

  11. my 25 in 32 is running a rb20 box and im making around 300kws at ground with no issues in box. a thought for you
  12. chassis dyno torque readouts are not engine torque, its the tractive effort on the rollers so yeah only way you can accurately measure a motor torque is to put it on a engine dyno. So unless your quoting engine dyno figures in a way all your figures are wrong.
  13. Have you checked that the harmonic balancer hasnt spun?? thats usually the cause of timing marks way around from point. also you can check timing with light on a indiviual coil setup there is a wire loop up near the back of motor you put the clip on

  16. in queensland, my car had to get a mod plate for the rb25 in my r32.
  17. did you plug your afm back in
  18. r33 cruiser make sure the CAS is plugged in properly, unplug check the pins and try it again. sounds like its not getting a crank signal
  19. 100% definet part of the casing of a bearing, inspect all bearings/tensioners

  21. i get around 150klms around town outta $55 of fuel and about 300-350 on open road .....need tune much?
  22. i have 19x9.5 under the rear of my 4 door. gaurds have been pushed out and rolled a little bit to fit comfortably
