I took the silvia today. Failed on tint being too dark on the LHR quarter glass and headlights aimed too high. I went around the corner and stripped the tint off then went to find someone to re-aim my headlights. Tried a good dozen places in dickson, braddon and Mitchell and the only place that wasnt too busy to help out was jap spec garage, and they were the only ones not equipped to do it lol They helped me out though and told me how to do it in my garage so I went home and aimed them. Took the car straight back to dickson (didn't have to rebook) and those two items were ticked off, but some time during the day a tennis-ball sized hole blew in the bottom of my muffler so I got failed again. Round 3 tomorrow.

My old man (volunteer rural bush fire brigade) has been called to the Yerrabin fire, should be on the ground there now. Hoping all goes well :S

I think a lot of people just do the deregister then reregister thing using a friendly authorised inspection station. I'm taking my silvia over the pits at dickson next week, not looking forward to it!!

It's very distinctive (many different colours, sbr stickers on doors, big pvc snorkel, roof racks and uhf aerial). Unfortunately I couldnt afford to enter the track day, it looked like a heap of fun apart from the marshals releasing cars onto the track right in front of cars going full speed through the kink. hmm it says you got a 3second penalty on that run? In fact the final results on natsoft includes all the fastest times without penalties applied, so if one were to plough through every chicane and do a 1:15 they would be 1st on the results sheet. Who is gonna volunteer to work out the real final results?

yep as I posted earlier (I think) they are running a Motorkhana on the vehicle manouvering (sp?) area on the Sunday. Pretty sure there wont be any more spots for that, they had 10 left a week ago. I'll be doing both Oh and picked these up today, will be giving them a run on Saturday

A couple of weeks ago Aldi had recently dated 1kg fire extinguishers with the double metal bracket for $15ea. Have a look at your local Aldi before trying supercheap/bunnings etc. Also make sure you get one that's recent, or it wont be any good for cams events if you want to enter any later. Please do enter the starlet, need micra vs. starlet battle

If the r31 is still alive I'll give it a run, otherwise will probably bring the micra.
