It really not even worth trying. Even if you did everything yourself, even if you got all the parts you need under 5k, you'll be very lucky to get it off the line let alone make it down the quarter. Better to put in 10-15k if you can afford it and do it right rather than waste 5k doing it wrong.

I dont get why your all defending Ford for bringing out a car that breaks down. You wouldnt be defending them if it happened to you. Like he said most of them are warrenty repaires, which means they don't have any mods, otherwise they wont cover under warrenty. And those who reckon give them time for R&D...Ford should have done that before the car was released

Dude I don't think its a good idea 'practicing' 'high speed' and 'mid speed' racing at all. You never know what could happen on the streets because you cant predict the environment. Someone could be pulling out of a driveway and you come racing around the corner at 80kmh thinking your practicing for F1. Racing around on the streets doesnt make you a good driver it makes you an idiot. The laws are stupid simply banning turbos, but its people like you who will eventually get young people banned from driving at all.

Exactly because its a different turbo mate. Just cause its stock doesnt mean it cant handle 17psi. And stop taking things so personal.
