Hi guys, I have for sale a pair of standard R32 GTR turbos. These came off my old gtr and have had about 80,000km use. Condition is good. asking $350 pair Also for sale are a set of Whiteline Subframe alignment bushes part no. KCA349, these are the same as the subframe alignment bushes in the sydneykid groupbuy and are brand new and have never been used, they retail for$137. asking $70 (note these bushes will also fit s13-s14, r32-r33 skyline, and z32 300zx.) Finally pair of HKS mushroom style air filters, condition is used, and elements will possibly need to be replaced, but housings are good condition. asking $50 for the both of them turbos have also been listed on ebay. any further questions please call 0423081464, i do not check pm or sau much anymore. need to get rid of these, if they don't sell they are going in the bin. any reasonable offer will be considered. Cheers, Dave

I actually met James Courtney last year and actually asked him about it, he used to race supras in jgtc (not 100% on this but think he also won an award for being the fastest overall driver in one of the seasons??), but races a ford V8 supercar now for jeld wen motorsport, came second this year in bathurst i'm pretty sure? anyway, from what he said, they tested the jgtc cars at qld raceway once in the off season, and they were about 10 sec a lap quicker than the v8 supercar times. so they are pretty quick, but it's not really a fair comparison, they are completely different cars, built to completely different rules and regs. Even the V8's now are pretty quick, if you have a look at the current V8 times around bathurst etc. you'll prob find that they are quicker than the group A r32 gtr's.. race car technology has gotten a lot better since the early 90's i guess. Still would be great to see more makes fighting it out, instead of just fords and holdens.. just my 2c!

but why isn't batman driving it?!
-
Just buy a VN commonwhore, duct tape the back doors shut, then call it a new model!
-
ive seen that car before in brighton, also commented on how nice it looked.. stolen gtr makes dave a sad boy.. hope you get her back mate!
-
just have a look at the spring rates, from memory its about 12k front and 10k rear... good for track work but pretty ridiculous for a street car
-
nope car was my daily, but i think it would still fair ok on the track? The car felt really good up in the twistys tho!
-
Used to have racing spec damper in my R32 GTR... given a smooth flat piece of road they handle awesome... but for everyday too stiff is a huge understatement... used to drive me nuts for a daily, sydneykid group buy FTW!!! i miss my gtr..

damn.. that summed up my high school days to a tee! at least i'm not the only one! also +1 for feeling like some1 is going to jump into your car after crossing the westgate!! haha

Hi, I'm not really after a custom paint job, would just like it touched up with black gloss, same colour as the rest of the helmet and buffed up, any ideas where to take it to?
-
Hi guys, after selling the gtr i decided i still need something fun so i took good friends motorbike off him! Came with brand new gear aswell! prob is... helmet has been scraped all down the side after another friend was careless with it.. , not dropped just scratched and doesn't look its best. I'm just annoyed because it was a brand new agv helmet in gloss black, and now its got a big dirty scrape down the side. Does anyone know where i could go to get this touched up, or buffed out?? Any help would be much appreciated! thanks, Dave

Hks 2540's Gtr Ball Bearing Turbos (pair)
Dave32 replied to Skylyne's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
What are 2540's like, are they similar to 2530? or are they larger? Do you have any more information on them? I'm keen. -
Buddy Club Or Tein Coilovers
Dave32 replied to Onthehunt's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
just don't get racing spec damper for a street car, had them in my 32R and the car used to jump all over the place, i think they are really just made for the track! -

Drilled Vs Dimpled Rotors
Dave32 replied to rio228's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I run the RDA dimpled/grooved rotors, i rekon they are pretty good, and they look cool too. -
Bendix Ultimates Suck
Dave32 replied to 75coupe's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I run the RDA grooved sports rotors on my 32R, they are also dimple drilled, coupled with EBC greenstuff pads for the street they work pretty good, low noise, and low dust, plus the rotors look awesome. used to have ultimates with dba slotted rotors... nowhere near as good imo, ultimates are loud, and too dusty, i found i went through them super quick aswell, without much hard driving at all.
