Sorry for misunderstanding. What i get is an origional DVD disk of JAPAN map, 2003 version, issued by nissan and xnavi. If i put it in the DVD-ROM in glove box, the screen will show the jap map. very interesting.

Yes that is the only way acceptable. Unless we can sourse a cheap 2nd VDO unit, that going to cost us 1500-1700 which I think does't worth at all. On the other hand as I know, a lot of VOD system only has a RCA out put by the V35 screen only has RGB input. That mean a conversion box may needed. Or may be we can used the TV box wire which I don't know what standard it is?

Australia Murano used the VOD system, it is no way to cross use map or software.

get a trippod, set to manual mode, turn off the flash, set a reasonable speed say: 1/4 second. then use the time delay funciton to avoid human hand shake. You will get high quality piture at night time.

Yeh, That is ABS test or inital something. If you are luck put your food on break pad at the same time (Just like me when i approch the garage door ) you will fell the pad same same respond as ABS break kick into in hard breaks. That is common take it easy.

I get my AUTO WATCH alarm fited for $380. That guy spend 3hours analysis all the wires of the security and immoboliser, at last he successbully install a alarm unit and keep the key untouched. What I got: Untouched key, all funtions run as factory set. Alarm system windows sensers A suprised funtion, when I click unlock bottom, the tail ligh will on for about 3 second, that is really cool as I seldom see what my car's tail light looks like. As I understanding, He didn't upgrade the security level, he just put an AUTO Watch unit in between the factory security unit and control, so all the singal will go through the origional unit and then the AUTO Watch unit, then to the control unit. the senser and siren are link to the AUTO WATCH unit. In case if some thing wrong, either from factory code system or new senser, The siren will speak lond. Pretty good.

It also can speak something if you try to start up with gear on N Or D. One of my friend understand Japnese. He own a 350GT-8, One time when his wife try to start the car with "D", The car said "sorry that is wrong, you can start car like that"--ofcouse in japnese. That is really interest.

The good thing is: we are used to use remote to opeate DVD player, they used place the DVD player under the seat or in boot because as chris said: The DVD rom in upper Glove box also has some function link to trip computer. any way I want to call chris the check out what his stage up to and wonder how can I do with my one in sydney.

Yeh, I called them 6 months ago. Just like Chris said, There is no cheap way to "convert" GPS unit to used here. What they do is just connect another GPS system via TV connections and used the remote to opearte. I would rather stay in my TOMTOM, I can imaging if I want to imput a address and the only thing I am able to use is a remote control. What a night mare.

Not to much, it can do: 1 show your fuel consumer data 2,show your position(North or south) 3,Show your currently Hight against sea level(sorry I don't know the word for that function) 4, If you driving with one door open, it will show a waring icon to let you know. 5, It also can show the FM frequency even only cover 75-90 6, If you have a JAP GPS dvd, you can see your car moving in the middle of no where. 7, Listen to Channel 7's sound 8, You can schedule your maintenance Basically that is all.

I called them both on Dealership and Parts Dep of Nissan AUS, They said that, ALL the Nissan Model in AUS using VDO system, our 350GT using XNAVI system. So there is nothing they can do and there is nothing they know.

Hi Warren The factory ballasts is located on the back of your fog light (Downstairs), it was screw up to the light it self like a cover. That is why we have to remove the front bumper to get access to it in order to put it back after complince. In additional if your complince workshop do good jobs, I mean they successful put normal globes in low beam, they already make some modisfication on the socket, you have to return it back to factory, so that you can put HID back in place.
